Flashback
An eight years old Taehyung was laying down in his cardboard box where all his favorite things were, diving into his imagination sea. The sun was setting outside his box, it was very beautiful, but little Taehyung did not even bother looking.
Not only that the sound of the birds chirping and the laughter of children who were running around were heard outside the box, but he had no intention of joining the them. He prefered closing his eyes and daydreaming. Nothing could feel more comfortable than this, especially when he was surrounded by all his favorite things and toys.
"Taehyung," his grandmother was calling out to him. Yet, Taehyung did not respond, he was drowning deeper and deeper into his ocean of imagination.
His grandma approached the box and opened it. She shook Taehyung's body, calling him to wake up. But Taehyung was never asleep.
Present.
"Tae, here more slices of pizza for you~" says Jimin as he adds another slice of pizza on top of Taehyung's plate.
They are in Mike's restaurant, the name of the restaurant, in the middle of New York City. It is an old restaurant. Everything inside is old and vintage since it was established in 1978. Basically, it's a nice restaurant with nice foods.
Taehyung is looking at the pizza Jimin put on his plate, the sound of people talking masking the beautiful jazz music that is playing in the background. Taehyung wishes they can turn the volume up.
"How's the taste Tae?" asks Yoongi who is sitting right next to Taehyung.
"It's yummy hyung," says Taehyung as he grins widely.
"Where are we going after this?" asks Jungkok.
"Where do you want to go Taehyung?" asks Jimin as he stuffs more pizza into his mouth.
"Let's go shopping guys!" says Taehyung. He has been looking forward to go shopping from the first day. He grins widely with the thoughts of shopping while continues eating his pizza. The members are looking at him with heart shapped eyes. Oh, how much they wish to protect that smile.
Flashback
The ticking sound of the clock echoed loudly in the living room. Taehyung was standing in the middle of the room, carrying a torn teddy bear. The light of the sunset slipped through the gap of the curtain of the window behind him.
The tv was off, the lights were off. Nothing could be heard but the echoed sound of the clock. Taehyung slowly mumbles to the Teddy Bear he was carrying.
