Jacob and I woke up with a bang. Eyes wide open. The door had closed. I had never heard it close that loud before, so it had to be pushed closed. In the doorway there was standing a tall, muscled boy with brown hair. He was wearing jeans and a green t-shirt that matched his eyes and showed off his muscles.

«What do we have her? » the boy asked accusingly, taking a step closer. I got out of bed and pulled a hoodie over my armless top.

«Matt, relax. » I knew what he was referring to. The boy who was sitting in my bed. «This I my friend Jacob». He looked a bit rattled and hurried to get out of bed. I couldn't really blame him. Matt could be intimidating if he wanted to. I turned to Jacob. «This is my big brother Matt. He is a Senior her»

«A friend, really Josefine? ». Matt studied Jacob and turned is eyes back to me. «Mom's not her, you can tell me the truth». I scowled at Matt, hoping he wouldn't embarrass me, like he normally does. I know Jacob looks good and all that, but he is a good example that you should not judge a book by the cover. Even though Jacob looks like he is a confident jock, is his personality more like me. He couldn't help that he had the perfect surfer body. And now he was just wearing a white tank top that really showed off his upper body.

«Yes, a friend. Just because you can't be friends with girls for other reasons then to sleep with them, doesn't mean other people can't. » I crossed my arms across my chest. «You know, some people have self-control». I snapped at him. Knowing his reputation, he had no right to lecture me. «What are you doing her, just barging in here on a Saturday? »

«Well let's see. I was supposed to meet my baby sister for breakfast, but you didn't show or answer your phone. As the caring big brother I am, I got worried and decided to check up on you. But I see you are all taken care of. » He answered sarcastically and shot me a strict look. God, he was worse than my father. At least I had him wrapped around my finger. I couldn't control Matt in the same way. I turned around and picked up my phone from the nightstand.

«Oh shit. I'm sorry, my phone died. Let me get changed and we can go out to breakfast. » I plugged my phone in the charger and turned towards Jacob.

«You know you can stay here as long as you want. » I smiled and went to my dresser, picked out a t-shirt and a pair jeans. I then walked to the bathroom and got ready as fast as possible. I didn't want to leave Jacob with Matt longer than necessary. I couldn't hear any talking, which lead me to believe that there was an awkward silence while I was out of the room. When I opened the bathroom door, I found them standing at the exact same place as when I left them. I gathered my things and put on my boots.

«Let's go Matt» I almost pushed him out the door. «See you later Jacob» I smiled. As I closed the door I turned around and looked at Jacob. Miming «I'm sorry», before I closed the door behind me.

«So, Jacob huh? » Matt took a sip the coffee and gave me a suspicious look. Clearly, he was fishing for information.

«You know, it's better if you just ask what you want to know» I flashed him a challenging smile. I wasn't going to cave. If he wanted to know something he would have to ask me directly.

«Okey then» He put down his mug. «So, you are just friends». He scanned my face, like he always does when he tries to figure out if I'm telling the truth.

«Yes» I answered short and sweet. Making him ask the questions himself. I wasn't going to give up any information for free. Not after his behavior back at the dorm. Matt sighed over my short answer.
