Luka's P.O.V.

I felt bad for deciding not to tell the guys about the call with Alex, especially to Leo...

He warned me about him and I know I should listen to him. I should ignore Alex and hang out with them, but I can't. There's something about him that's just ...urghhhhhh I don't know! There's just something that makes me feel amazing and nice and-and...I don't know what to do.

Suddenly my alarm went off right in my ear, causing me to let out a long groan. I've spent the whole night rolling around in bed thinking about him and my friends that I didn't get a second off real sleep.

Maybe I can just stay in bed a bit longer... or all day. I'll tell the school I'm sick. Yeah, let's do that, l snuggled back into my sheets. But as always the world was against me.

"Luka!! Wake up, one of your friends is here!" my sister shouted while barging into my room.

"Please just leave me alone," I whined shoving my head into my pillow. "Wait... who's here?" Why would one of the guys be here?

"uhmmm QuickSilver?" she joked, "I didn't have time to tell you but I've joined the cheerleading team and have to be at school for early practice."

"So you called one of my friends to drive me?" I questioned as she bounced around my room picking up stuff and chucking me my uniform.

"Yep," she stopped for a second when she picked up one of my old uniforms from our old school. "Though I might not last long on the team knowing mum," she whispered the end to herself so low that I almost didn't hear her. I got off the bed and walked up to her wrapping my arms around her from behind.

"I'm sure everything will work out and be ok. We need to make the most of every second we have here and with the people we meet."

"Yeah... yeah you're right," she turned around in my arms to hug me back.

"Thanks."

"No problem Eli, I love you," I hugged her a few seconds more before she pushed me away and gave me the brightest smile she could muster.

"I love you too." She turned back around, "Right I'm going, if not I'm gonna be late".

"Ok. Be safe."

Once she left my room I finished getting ready and ran down the stairs into my kitchen only to see ahead of silver hair sticking out of the top of my fridge door.

"Making ourselves at home, are we?" I questioned jokingly, making him jump.

"Fuck!" Erik jumped back from the fridge, a spoon sticking out of his mouth. "You scared the shit out of... are you ok? You look like shit" he asked, giving me a worried look.

"Yeah, I'm fine, just had a bad night's sleep." He stared at me with a serious look I couldn't place but then he shrugged it off.

"All right, if you say so. Come on, let's go."

"Can we get breakfast on the way?"

"Poppy's?"

I smiled brightly, "Poppy's."

We made it to school in record time after stopping at Poppy's for a milkshake, and again I felt like my insides had been reorganised.

"Do you ever drive at a normal speed?" I questioned him and his sense of self-preservation.

"Nope." He smirked while making his way up the steps and completely ignoring my pain. "I just have a need for speed." he laughs.
