Chapter 5

Luka's pov

CLICK, CLICK

"Hmm.." where the hell is that fucking noise coming from?

CLICK

Can it just leave me the fuck alone I'm trying to sleep right now!

Before I could go back to dream land, I felt something move under me.

Wait.

Are beds supposed move ??

Realizing that beds are not supposed to move, I slowly started to open my eyes, only to see Erick standing there with a phone in his hand and a giant smirk on his face.

"Hello, sleeping beauty" he said, looking up from his phone.

It was then that I noticed I was lying on someones lap. I turned over on to my back only to see a sleeping Leo. His head was leaning downwards so that his face was only a few inches away from mine and one of his hands was holding on to my waist to make sure I didn't fall off my makeshift bed.

Ahhhh, panicking I sat up as quickly as I could and ended up head butting Leo in the chin pretty hard, he snapped awake and let out a growl. A growl?

"Can't you stay still for 5 minutes" he said rubbing his chin.

"Sorry I didn't mean to" I answered rubbing my head. What has is chin made out of? Vibranium? That hurt like hell I'm pretty sure there's going to be a bump there in the morning.

"He was just worried that you'd see him drooling in his sleep" said Erick slipping his phone into his pocket.

I could feel my cheeks go red,"I don't drool!" I shot back at him trying to get my blushing face under control.

"yeah yeah" he answered walking up to us, Leo stood up after pushing me back into my own seat.

"How is he doing?" He asked Erik

"The doc said that he should be out in a couple of days but that his foot is broken " he scratched the back of his head "so yeah he won't be going anywhere for a while" he sighed "you guys should head back it getting late, I'll stay with Robin for a bit and then I'll head back too"

I looked out of the window at the end of the hall only just realising that it was already dark outside. How long did I sleep for? Remembering how I slept on someone else lap made my face turn red. Again.

"You're fine with that Luka?" Erik asked.

Shit I wasn't listening I must have zoned out.

"Yeah that's fine" When I didn't move Leo started to drag me out of the hospital.

What the hell did I miss? Where are we going ?

*time skip*

Leo and I were on our way back to school to grab his bike. Leo also lived in the same town as me. Which means that I know at least one person now in that small dump. It also means that he can give me ride there and I don't have to ring my sister at 11 at night. I'd rather like living.

Without notice Leo pulls me behind one of the school walls just before we get to the main gate.

"The school is already shut for the night but some of the teachers are still here but none of them will let us in so we are going to have to go over the wall without being noticed"

"Do we have to?"

"Well do you want to walk all the way back?"

I shake my head.

"Good" he bent down and put his hands together,

"Put your foot on my hands and I'll push you up "

I do as he says and place my hands on his shoulder and my foot in his hands and he lifts me up with out even breaking a sweat.

I grab on to the top of the wall which was now at same hight as my shoulders and pulled myself up which is kind of hard to do when you have zero muscles. I turn around to help Leo but he was already getting a running start. He jumped up and grabbed the top of the wall pulling himself up with ease and jumped down the other side with ease. I looked over the side of the wall.

WHY THE HELL DO PEOPLE MAKE WALLS SO HIGH?!

"What's wrong? Jump down" he whispered.

"n..nothing" I lied taking a deep breath I slowly let myself slip of the wall. I felt myself fall and land on the hard floor.

"ow!!"

"you ok?" he asked pulling me up by the arm "you could have just told me you were scared I would have helped you"

"I was not scared!"

"yeah yeah, why is it so hard to believe you" he smiled, it looked good on him, but it disappeared as soon as it appeared. Wait?! It looked good on him?! What the hell am I thinking?

We walked along the wall to the back of the school where most of the cars and bikes are parked during the day, so it was not hard to spot Leo's bike right away considering that it was the only one there. Just one tiny bit of a problem.

"why did you park right in front of the teacher room? You do realise that they are still here at this time?"

"well I didn't think that I was going to have to sneak in to school at 11 to come and get it back" he whispered back at me,"just shut up and don't make a sound".

Leo bends down so that the teachers couldn't see him from the inside, crawled over to his bike, grabbed two helmets out of it and signaled me to come over to him, which I did without making any noise, thank god. He passed me the smaller helmet, grabbed his and slowly started to pull is bike away.

He turn it around and we started to move away and we got half way to the gate but we both froze when we heard a door opens and close.

One of teachers wad just walked out and I pretty sure they will noticed us.

"HEY! YOU TWO WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU STILL DOING HERE?!" Yep they had.

"GET ON!" Leo shouted to me.

I got on as fast as I could. Miss Papasavas, our english teacher, was still yelling at us to stop, as Leo speed down the road.

"HELL YEAH!!!!!!" Leo yelled over the roar of the engine. "I'M NEVER DOING THAT AGAIN" I yelled back grabbing on to him as he sped down a bendy road. He just laughed.

We spent the rest of the way back in silence. He dropped me off at the end of my road, it was better if he didn't wake up my mum, not when my day was actually not that bad.

"See you tomorrow sleeping beauty." he said with a small laugh.

Euh?!! Wait that means that he was awake back at the hospital! But it was kinda cute that he remembered. Arh!!! What the hell am I thinking!!!! My brain is all over the place!! I can't keep thinking like this.

I... I don't want repeat of last time.
