Chapter 14

Luka's POV

I'd never seen such a threatening but beautiful creature in my entire life.

There where three of them but I couldn't help but be drawn to the biggest one in the back, the other two couldn't compare. I just wanted to run my hand through its black shiny fur and stroke its ears. But what was the most intriguing were his eyes... they are breathtaking!  The bright yellow color bored into me making me feel like it could see and captivate my soul at the same time.

I just stood there staring at him until one of the other wolfs let out a mall wine breaking my trance. I shook my head trying to come back to reality and focused on the guy that a walked in with them... WAIT! that the guy from last night!!! What the hell is he doing here ?!
I quickly hid behind the tile, lucky I am kinda small for a 17-year-old guy so it was easy to not be seen, this would have to be the first time in my life where I am happy that I am small.

The tall piece of shit that left me in that room with that beast last night started to talk with Doctor Denneka when I felt something warm and wet nudge my hand. I pulled it back as fast as I could while letting out a small squeak, making me fall back on to my ass. Luckily nobody had noticed my small embracing moment but that wasn't my priority right now, I could feel a hot breath on my neck from behind me. Swallowing hard I slowly turned around to see the black beast from before just standing there staring me right in the eyes. Nope! No, I have to be dreaming. Please tell me this isn't real! if it is I'm going to castrate Leo for bringing me here today! Not sensing my distress the giant wolf lowered his head without breaking eye contact and nudge my hand again.

He was so cute I can deny him that but he was so intimidating at the time that I couldn't help but be a bit scared. In the position we here in he was much taller then me witch didn't help with my fear. I tried to back away from him but he let out a low growl and crouched down in his front paws making me freeze, he came closer making me shut my eyes tightly and flinch away fearing the worst but after a few seconds nothing came. I slowly opened my eyes only to see his bright eyes staring back at me a few inches away from my face. Close up I now realize that his eyes are more of gold color with just made them more interesting and beautiful, they showed so my different emotions at once; love, hate, confusion, and fear?

I couldn't help but admire them and him, without even realizing it I reached out to touch him, I'm not sure what came over me but everything about this terrifying wolf intrigued me. He was scaring me but at the same time, he was magnificent. I was just about to touch the side of his head when a hand shot out of nowhere, graded mine, pulled me up and pushed me behind them all in a few seconds. Still confused I looked up and recognized Leo right away.

Slowly, the wolf that was in front of me a few seconds before let out a loud growl that sent multiple chills down my spine. He was now growling and baring his teeth at Leo who was sending him a glare. When the wolf looked like it was about to attack him Dr.Daneeka -step in-between the two them without a care in the world, cigarette in him mouth and hand tucked into his long lad coat.

"well my little alpha why don't you come round back so I can give you a check-up and stop scaring my pore new boy," he asked, I don't know if it was just me but he sounded a bit narcissistic. But still, the wolf didn't move it just growled even louder, he glares now pointed at the Doc. Fearing for the worst Leo pushed me back so that I was further away for it but this didn't help, it only seemed to make things worse. The wolf bent down ready to attack anyone of us but thankfully a loud whistle pierced the hole shop making us all jump apart from the Doc who didn't even flinch, he just looked bored with the whole situation.
