Chapter 17

Luka'pov

There's no way!

I took a step away from him, my whole body shaking.

Memories of that night came flooding back.

The kisses, the feeling of his warm hands running all over my body.

His voice...God that voice was enough to make me forget about this whole situation.

But that's what scares me the most. That voice that got me to do things I promised my self I would never do again.

He can't be the same guy as Friday, he just can't be. But they do have the same personality... both assholes and blunt.

I was so lost in my thoughts that I didn't notice Alex reach out and gently run the back of his hand down my cheek.

But I wouldn't let his charm get to me, "NO!" I slapped his hand away, moving back.

He looked shocked that I pushed him back. But that look soon turned to anger.

Luckily before he could act on it the bell that marked the end of class rang, making me jump and Alex let a hiss in pain?

Taking this as my chance I turned around and ran out of the office, into the crowded hallway.

I ran through them, back to my locker.  I was so desperate to get away from him that I ended up running right into someone.

Well more like rammed them, making the both of us fall over onto the ground.

"I'm-I'm sorry" I stammered out. Opening my eyes, I looked down to notice that I was starring at Robin's icy blue eyes, that were glaring at me. " Shit! I'm so sorry!" I jumped up, only now noticing that I was crushing him. I extended my hand to help him up.

" What happened to you two idiots?" A mocking voice asked us. I looked over Robin, who was now brushing himself off, to see Erik standing there looking as dishevelled as ever.

"uhh, I kinda ran him over, "I said, letting out a small laugh.

"you klutz." He teased while gliding his arm over my shoulder and his other one over Robins, who seemed unfazed. "where have you been all morning?"

"oh... Well, I woke up late" Erik gave me a side grace but didn't question me when my voice cracked. He just turned his attention back to Robin.

I let out a long shaky sigh, finally begins able to breathe one again.

My heart was still beating a hundred miles an hour but at less, I felt like I had my body was finally listening to me.

Erik caught me up with what had happened since Saturday, which wasn't much. He mostly spent his weekend getting over his hangover at Leo's with Robin. Angel left the second she woke up, muttering something about her parents and a curfew.
I worked out that the situation with her parents wasn't the best so I didn't push him for any information.

The rest of the morning was slow, I felt dazed and num thought all my classes. I couldn't rape my head around what's happened in the last few days, it's exhausting me! Let's just hope that that guy ignores my existence from know on.

When the lunch bell rang we lazily made our way over to the field again. On the way there I noticed that Leo wasn't with us.

"Hey Erik, where's Leo?"

"uhhhm...h-he had a family emergency, so he's not gonna be here for the next few days"

" oh ok"I mumbled

"don't be so gloomy" he teased "you still have us" he pulled me into a side hug.

" I-I didn't mean it like that! I love hanging out with you guys" I gusted

" I'm only teasing," he said with a large grin on his face making a smile grow on my own.

"Yeah, yeah"

When we sat down Erik started gushing over this old horror movie that he loved and wanted to watch with robin and me.

But I zoned out for a second, distracted by what happened with Alex.

I regretted going to the party after an already bad day, stopping the fight, going into the nurse's office... The list goes on.

It didn't help that I spotted said asshole across the filed. 'why do they have to sit there?'. Without thinking I let my eyes wander over him and connect with his golden-brown ones. He gave me a smirk and licked his lips making me blush and turn away.

' what's wrong with you! He's just an idiot, don't let your self be after by him!' I turn back to him and shot him a glare.

"Hey sleepyhead, did you hear me?"

"uhh, what? Yeah I did " I answer without thinking

"YAY!," Erik said pupping his fists into the air

'shit, what did I agree with now?'

"ok cool, will meet after class and then head to your place to watch the movie!"

'I need to start listening...WAIT! They can't come to mine!'

"This is gonna be the best, you're gonna love this movie is amazing!" he smiled brightly

"ugh I can't say no to that smile, why does he have to be so...so ... shiny'

"yeah sound good" a corked smile on my face. I let out another sigh while pulling out my phone to text my sister so that she knows what's going on. To which she replied with lots of heart emojis and a long message telling me that she's so happy I have friends. I rolled my eyes and told her that she was acting like an old lady.

"you're so mean! 😭😭" she texted back.

"what are you smelling at," Erik asked while wiggling his eyebrows "Is it a special someone???"

"ew no!" I pushed him away "it's just my sister"

"kinky" I sent him a glare and I pushed him to the ground.

"gross!" I held but he had laughs fit anti Robin hit him on the back of his head, shutting him up.

"ow! ok I get it, I'll stop". I couldn't help but laugh at him getting beaten up by someone much smaller them him.

After school, Erik gave me a ride back home and let's just say that I munched prefered ridding with Leo. Erik goes way to fast! I was scared for my life the whole way back!

"you ok back there ?" Erik laughed, enjoying my suffering.

"peachy," I said hoping he could hear the sarcasm in my voice.

I look over to Robin who was starring at my house, most definitely judging it. He surprised me by walking over to a small flower bed my sister had planned and without a word pulled out a plant.

"weed," the said and dropped it into my hand.

I was so shocked, I looked over at him a ' what the hell' look.

"Just ignore it, he is a bit of a garden nome and loves plants. Him helping you like this means he like you or is preparing to kill you" I couldn't help but laugh at this: so he is short and loves gardening. He's definitely a little, adorable gnome. But still scary sometimes.

Once inside the boys made themself right at home on my couch. Robin snuggling in right away and Erik started looking for the movie he wanted to play.  I sat between both of them with a bowl of chips and other snacks on my lap and Erik started the movie.

Did I mention that I hade scary movies? Let's pray that this one isn't.
