We followed Steve up to the launchpad where I saw a sight I was not happy to see. "Y/n what's that!" Bucky whispered to me.
"That would be the Bifrost. It's how I was able to visit here, and it's how I travel from Asgard to here." I explained frustrated.
"Well, what does it mean? Why's it here?" He questioned, I could hear his concern as he saw my angry expression.
"My father." I blankly informed him and I saw his face change from concern to just fear, fear most likely for himself. I can't blame him though, over 70 years and he's finally meeting his girlfriends' parents after just finding out their gods and accidentally strangling her. I'm really hoping Heimdall or Loki didn't say anything to him so I can come up with a lie about the neck brace.
The light from the Bifrost lifted and revealed my mother and father, with both of my brothers behind them. "Y/n." My father thundered sternly.
"Father." I coldly replied.
"Hey, hi, sorry to barge in but Y/n you wanna explain who just poofed into my launchpad?" Tony asked. "I'm also noticing the trend in bringing back the psycho every time we get rid of him."
"This is none of your concern" my father growled but my mother slapped his shoulder.
"Sorry Mr. Stark, these are my parents." I explained.
"Right, well carry on sorry I interrupted big guy. Nice eyepatch, gold, I like it. I'll make note of it if I ever lose an eye." Tony joked.
I looked over to my mother smiling at me and approached her with a hug. "Happy to see you again mother."
"You as well my darling." She smiled brightly before returning to my fathers' side.
"What is this your brothers tell me of you not returning to Asgard?" My father asked. His face remained stern and cold. He had always been certain to keep a stern voice with me, especially since my previous Asgard situation, I was never the best behaved.
"I will not father. I have found my love and I wish to stay here with him." I explained trying to remain equally as stern as he is.
"May your mother and I meet this man?" He asked. I was shocked by his request because I believed that father despised the thought of me being in love, but I stepped aside and motioned to Bucky who was standing a bit behind me.
Bucky took a step forward and knelt to one knee and bowed his head to my parents. I don't know if I was more shocked at my parents wanting to meet him or that he knew how to bow to them properly and respectfully.
"Do you have a name?" My father thundered.
"James Buchanan Barnes, sir." Bucky respectfully introduced himself without lifting his head.
"You may stand my dear." My mother softly informed him. Bucky stood tall with his arms at his side. "Tell me do you love our sweet Y/n?"
"Yes ma'am. I love her with all my heart." Bucky smiled at my mother and she smiled in return then looked up at my father nudging him with her elbow.
"His name sounds familiar. Why is that?" Father questioned.
"He is the same man I loved many years ago," I explained as I stepped forward next to Bucky. "Fate has brought us together again."
"Y/n does he treat you well?" My father questioned. I saw Loki about to speak before Thor covered his mouth and held it there. Thor smiled and nodded for me to continue.
"Yes, father, he does."
"Then tell me, darling, what is that around your neck?" He questioned. I could see fear and shame in Bucky's eyes.
"It's nothing, father, really," I reassured him. "I merely fell, the mortal doctor here likes to take precautions."
Father turned around and Thor released Loki quickly before he noticed. "My boys you've been here, you've seen this man with our sweet Y/n." My father began. "How is he with her? Does he respect her?"
"Yes, father of course. This fellow, James- Uh- Bucky, he treats Y/n very well and loves her very much. I trust him." Thor spoke quickly before Loki could. I smiled at him.
Father turned towards Loki who had a grin on his face. "Loki my son, you suggested we come here to check on Y/n," hearing that Loki suggested this made my blood boil. He knows what he's done. "What do you think of Sir Barnes?"
"Well father," Loki began as I glared at him. "I am personally concerned for her safety. For the past 70 years that he's been without her, he's been a murderous weapon of destruction. When they reunited he couldn't even keep a grasp of reality long enough to keep himself from hurting her. You can see the stitches on her arm father that's from him, and I bet the thing in her neck is from him strangling her a second time. He's a threat to Y/n father."
"YOU'RE A DIRTY TRAITOR LOKI!" I shouted. "YOU WERE MEANT TO BE ON MY SIDE, YOU PROMISED ME YEARS AGO TO HELP ME FIND HIM NOW YOU WISH TO TEAR US APART!"
"Y/n!" My father snapped back at me. "Enough. You shall return home with us immediately."
"Wait!" To my surprise, my mother chimed in. She gracefully stepped forward and stood face to face with Bucky. "Answer me again Sir Barnes. Do you love my daughter?"
"Yes ma'am. She's my whole universe. In the past 70 years that we've been apart, I've never found any person more worth fighting for than her." Bucky smiled brightly at me then looked back to my mother who was smiling at him. "If I don't have her I'm not truly alive."
"Tell me honestly, and Y/n you mustn't answer for him," she began. "Is it true what my son says? The scar on her arm and that brace on her neck, was this caused by you?"
Bucky took a deep breath. "Yes, ma'am it was." He sighed. "During the time without your daughter, some really bad people were controlling my mind. They made me into a pet to use as a weapon when they pleased. I am still recovering from the damage they caused me. It truly pains me to know that I've caused Y/n such pain." Bucky looked down at his feet.
My mother brought her hand underneath his chin and lifted his head. "Thank you for being honest Sir Bucky." She whispered with a gentle smile. "Come now. We're returning home, boys. Y/n is to stay here with her love." I smiled at my mother.
"My dear, don't you think she'll need our supervision if she's going to be around this dangerous man at all times?" My father questioned my mother's logic.
"Certainly not. He will protect her. For moments when he cannot, she can protect herself." She smiled at me. "You boys really do forget her centuries of training, don't you? Heimdall take us home please." Just as the Bifrost began taking them home I heard my father's voice.
"We will speak about this in the future."
With that, they were gone. "That's was a fun little show." Tony joked from the sides. "We got some drama, a little lights. Though I could've done without the whole betrayal of the brother thing, it was a little predictable for him." I chuckled at him as we all turned to go back inside.
"Your dad doesn't seem to trust me very much." Bucky whispered to me.
"My father trusts no one." I smiled. "But my mother trusts few, take it as a compliment that she trusted you enough to leave you with her only daughter."
