"Heimdall take me home." Within seconds I was by his side I looked up and saw my father waiting for me with my brothers by his sides. I gasped and jumped slightly. Usually, it is only Heimdall waiting for me, at most I expected my brother Loki but certainly was not wanting to see my father.

"Back from Midgard I see." My father grumbled as he stood tall.

"Father I was just exploring which was what you allow-"

"What I allowed was for you to safely go to Midgard and explore with your brothers. Instead, I discover you've been leaving day after day alone." He scolded. "And what of this boy, this James Barnes?"

"Nothing father it was just a man I met," I explained. "He simply showed me the city, I wished to learn more and he taught me."

"You were interacting with them with no safety. You were alone. You promised me that you would keep yourself safe from harm on Midgard, and I come to find that you didn't even bother to bring your knives." my father thundered.

"But father I-" he interrupted again.

"But nothing." His voice echoed and I saw my brothers sulk. "You are to no longer return to Midgard. Nor are you to have any contact or knowledge of this James."

My eyes filled with tears. I looked to my brothers for support but they wouldn't even look at me. I began walking past them when my father stopped me. "You will not be needing this any longer." He huffed as he removed my locket. I ran home to find a place to be alone. I couldn't stand to be near anyone at the moment. I felt that if a single person tried to speak to me I might explode with fury and rage.

I sat afloat on top of a piece of the ground that I had ripped up out of the soil and using my earth manipulation to keep it in the air. This was the only way I felt safe and that I could truly be alone.

"Y/n!" I heard Loki call for me from below. I lowered my private island to be at eye level with him.

"You told him," I mumbled. "You told him my secret and now it's ruined forever!" My voice got louder.

"Sister please forgive me!" He pleaded "I had no explanation to give him. He found your journal, I tried lying and saying it was all a fictional tale you were writing but he went searching for you and you were nowhere on Asgard. He became furious when he found the page about James-"

"BUCKY!" I shouted then took a deep breath and brought myself to a whisper. "His name is Bucky."

Loki stepped himself up onto my island. "I'm deeply sorry sister. I'll find a way to Midgard, without the use of the Bifrost. I swear it" he promised.

"It doesn't matter. He leaves for a war in the morning and I won't be there to tell him goodbye." I began to cry softly as my brother hugged me. I returned home to sit in my room for the rest of the evening and see Thor waiting for me outside my bedroom door.

"Sister!" He called out to me. "Here. I've brought these for you. Father was going to burn them but I knew how much they meant to you so I managed to convince him to let me carry them to the vault." He then handed me my journal and the heart necklace Bucky gave me. It wasn't normal for Thor to lie to our father or go against his wishes but I suppose he cared more for my feelings than for fathers anger.

I opened the locket and saw his photo still there. I hugged my brother before walking into my bedroom where I sat staring at my locket.

"I'm sorry my love," I whispered as a tear fell from my cheek. "I will find you in another time. I will always find you."
