Chapter 9: All I See is You

3rd Person POV

Today was the day... Shigaraki was set to make his move.

Shinso had used his Brainwashing on Aoyama and his parents to contact All for One, leading him to a large, secluded area within the abandoned city outside U.A. However, before any advancement could be made, Monoma used Kurogiri's Quirk, Warp Gate, to summon all the Heroes to the battlefield.

However, two certain girls were taken off the battlefield...

Miku was assigned to the sidelines with Aizawa. Her teacher had planned that he would erase as many of Shigaraki's Quirks as possible alongside Monoma, who would Copy Erasure. And that she would be their backup for the worst possible case scenario: they could just not keep their eyes open anymore, especially Monoma who was inexperienced with the Erasure Quirk in comparison to Aizawa.

She expressed her worries about his plan to her teacher, stating how she didn't think she'd be able to hold Shigaraki for that long because of how many Quirks within him she'd have to freeze. She had managed to hold him for barely any time during the first war, and with most definitely many more Quirks now under his disposal... she feared that time-freezing duration would be even shorter.

Yet, regardless of her worries, Aizawa told her that it didn't matter if she could only hold Shigaraki for a few seconds... because that alone was enough time for them to recover and cancel his Quirks once again. So, therefore, her goal was to remain at Aizawa and Monoma's side and save all her power for that worst possible case scenario.

Meanwhile, Vanessa was stationed with Yao-Momo at the U.A. Flying Fortress to keep the school afloat with her drawings. Due to her emotional instability, she was taken off the battlefield... although she was never told why; She was simply told it was because her Quirk could assist in keeping U.A. afloat. Her classmates were aware of the real reason, and were instructed not to say a peep. After all, what Tsukauchi had feared most about the girl was that when she saw Dabi... either she would have a panic attack...

Or she would go crazy; Go insane.

The Heroes and the Villains charged toward each other, Heroes emerging from Warp Gates created by Monoma and Villains emerging from All for One's Warping Quirk.

Tomura Shigaraki bent over completely to touch the ground, however before he could pull off anything, his gaze was averted to one of the League of Villains members appearing next to him.

"Dabi." "You ain't the boss of me, Leader." Dabi stoically fired back at Shigaraki, swinging his aflame arms to his side. And when he witnessed his father on the field, Dabi crazily grinned, "Fancy running into you here! Dear old dad!"

Dabi now began to swing his arm forward, about to burn everyone with his scorching blue flames, "Come to watch your pals get cremated—?!"

A large explosion of ice suddenly appeared, canceling out the blue flames surrounding the area. Upon seeing ice fly out from one of Monoma's Warp Gates, Dabi's crazy grin only grew as he madly chuckled, steam leaving his parted lips.

"Not on my watch, brother! You big jerk!" Todoroki appeared through the Warp Gate alongside Class 1-A, a determined glare on his face.

"SHOTOOO!!" Dabi screamed in utter delight, his crazed grin only growing even more and his eyes constricting in pure delight. He clenched his fingers at his sides, igniting his fire, "Aw, damn!! Where's that Blue Butterfly of yours?! I didn't get to finish the job last time!!" "You're not getting your hands on her again!!" Todoroki declared with the same determined glare, gritting his teeth in the process.
