Bonus Chapter: Laugh As If You Are in Hell

This chapter takes place during the Endeavor Agency Arc

Vanessa Freitas' POV

"There have already been over 50 incidents." the police officer told Endeavor. Both of them were sitting on sofas across from one another, a low wooden table in between them covered in many many printed photos of said incidents.

With my hands folded in my lap, I stood in between Shoto and Midoriya, with Bakugo to Shoto's right, a hand on his hip and annoyed scowl on his face like usual. And behind Endeavor's sofa stood Burnin, Onima, and Kido. We were all in our hero costumes—of course—and Bakugo had his mask off.

"Please, will you help us arrest the culprit?" the officer pleaded, though Endeavor looked up at him from the photos with an annoyed glare, his arms crossed, "You want us to catch a mere vandal?"

"Please—!" "I refuse!" Endeavor stood up, glaring nastily down at the officier, a glare that sent multiple shivers speeding up my arms and spine. "The police should be able to take care of such a minor offence! This job is beneath me!"

"Please, sir— We've tried. The man known as 'Mr. Smiley' keeps eluding our forces. His Quirk's too strong." The officer refuted sternly, though he was clearly panicked... and I slightly tilted my head in confusion. Huh? Too strong?

"A strong Quirk?" Burnin raised a brow suspiciously. "What kind of Quirk is it?" asked Kido.

The officer sternly stared up at the Flaming Sidekickers, "Anyone who looks at Smiley's face convulses in fits of laughter."

"That's your problem?" Endeavor glared down at the officer with a slightly confused yet annoyed scowl at the same time... or maybe not. To me, he looked more disgusted-annoyed.

"They fall over in agony and laugh so hard they can't stand up! On top of that, it lasts for two hours. Whenever we try to arrest Smiley, he makes us laugh and then escapes!"

So he just makes people collapse into laughter and runs away? His Quirk's kinda like Ms. Joke's. I thought to myself while Endeavor angrily sat back down on his sofa, clearly thinking to himself. How do you angrily sit down, you may ask? Rest assured my boyfriend's father knows how to do that.

"Very well." Endeavor reluctantly agreed, and I felt my heart jump in shock. I hadn't expected that. "We'll keep an eye out for the vandal on our patrols." "Please do!" the officier exclaimed back, and I glanced over to Midoriya to my left to find him thinking to himself with a hand to his chin. I giggled under my breath at the fact he was clearly lost in thought.

Now that the officer has left Endeavor's Agency... we all remained in Endeavor's office where the officer had left the printed photos—the evidence—laid out on the table. The sidekicks sat down on the sofas, I still stood in between Shoto and Midoriya... and Bakugo stood off behind the sofa next to me, his back facing us.

"They're foisting such a trivial case on us..." Endeavor grumbled from the windows, where he stood tall with his hands behind his back as he looked out into the orange sky dawning over the city.

"Yikes. The graffiti's pretty bad." Kido said, and I firmly nodded with a straight line for a mouth and raised eyebrows. "Yeah. Does this guy think he's Banksy or something?" Onima scowled.

"Nothing compared to Aryoi's art, I'd say." Burnin smirked right at me with a wink, and my heart skipped a million beats as I felt my face boil up. "Th-Thank you, ma'am, but no need to flatter me." I glanced to my left in embarrassment, and only now did I notice Midoriya once again—like earlier—thinking to himself with a hand to his chin.
