Chapter 10: His Dream

While Edgeshot repaired Bakugo's heart and lungs and Best Jeanist protected his former intern and Miku... Mirko and the Big 3 continued to fight off Shigaraki with every single part of their being, Jeanist eventually joining them when the situation became too dire.

Then, when Midoriya had finally appeared on the U.A. Flying Fortress' battlefield... and upon seeing all the barely conscious Heroes... Miku lying unconscious next to Bakugo lying there next to her... lifeless...

He was filled with a fury like no other.

With his emotions fueling both him and One For All, Midoriya charged into battle against Shigaraki. And during this battle, when Vanessa had heard that against all odds, Dabi had somehow regained consciousness and chased after Endeavor, who was fighting against All For One... she was filled with utter fear.

As Midoriya continued to fight against Shigaraki for what seemed to feel like an eternity... Kurogiri had suddenly appeared, having broken free from his imprisonment, with Present Mic emerging from one of his Warp Gates. Twice Doubles began to swarm them and pushed Aizawa and Manual out of the way, while simultaneously knocking down Monoma on purpose... causing his eyes to shut and Erasure to cancel.

And thus, almost instantly... Shigaraki unleashed a massive explosion that destroyed most of the fortress' interior, his arsenal of Quirks no longer erased.

If Miku hadn't left her post... this could have possibly been avoided, with her freezing Shigaraki in time while Monoma quickly recovered. But despite the pure frustration surging through his veins, Aizawa still didn't hold it personally against his precious student. After witnessing the death of her lover... he didn't blame her for ultimately running to his side.

U.A. was going to fall. Shigaraki was going to escape. It would mean the destruction of the world if he was unleashed.

Midoriya had noticed that after Shigaraki's explosion... his body had started to tear away, as if he was shedding his skin... and Midoriya realized that the young man's original persona had finally emerged, All For One currently unable to manipulate his body.

The U.A. Flying Fortress was falling... and no matter how many drawings Vanessa summoned underneath the fortress— The descending landmass ripped through them all because of the rain that caused her drawings to be weaker, but she had no idea of the storm.

The green haired boy then began to panic, wondering how he was going to stop U.A. from crashing and save everyone inside as he simultaneously kept an eye on Shigaraki and Kurogiri so neither could escape. It didn't help that he was facing the drawback of the powered-up Gearshift Quirk.

Mandalay quickly escorted the electricity team out of their operation system, and Kaminari and Fukidashi witnessed the deck where the electricity generator stood being attacked by Twice Doubles. They cried out to their teacher and classmate in a panic, while Kaminari prayed that wherever Miku was, she was okay... Because she wasn't with his teacher like she was supposed to be.

Then, with the assistance of La Brava, Gentle Criminal used his Quirk to prevent U.A. from falling. And from the city floor below, a recovering Lady Nagant managed to successfully shoot two bullets right at Shigaraki, the second blasting his left arm right off.

Ignoring All For One trying to take over his body from the inside, and his declares that he would steal One For All, Shigaraki declared he didn't need OFA and that he wouldn't let himself be controlled anymore.
