Your Pov:
"Why do I have to stay behind!? Do I need to remind you it's literally my job in the universe to take the Stones?" I said, debating on who should go where."Y/n, it's too dangerous. If something happens to me or either of us, it's up to you. Maybe this won't even work and we'll get stuck in the past," Dad said.
"That's not going to happen due to the suits, I've already thought that through. Seriously, learn to trust your own goddamn daughter."
"Do not raise your voice at me, this is not a discussion. You stay here to control the machine, end of discussion."
"Fine, everybody ready?"
After a last check up, I started the machine and the others were literally sucked into it. Please make it out alive.
Tony's Pov:
I had to go find the Space Stone together with the Ant-Man, while Steve was looking for Mind and Bruce was going for Time. Apparently, they were all here, at the same time. Let's just hope everybody makes it out alive.Thor's Pov:
I was sent after the Reality Stone together with the talking bunny, which was in this reality still in Jane's body."Nervous to see your ex again?"
"No, why would I be?"
Natasha's Pov:
Clint and I were sent to Vormir, a planet where the Soul Stone was. According to Nebula, one of the remaining Guardians of the Galaxy, it was at the top of the mountain."Why is it freezing up here? We're in space of all places, weather is not a thing here," Clint complained.
"Yes it is, now keep climbing so we can get the Stone and get out of here. Don't you want to see Laura again, and your children?" I asked him, knowing his answer.
"You're right, we have to. Wait, do you see that creature over there?"
"Welcome to Vormir, I am RedSkull, keeper of the Soul Stone," A floating thing with indeed a red skull said.
"Well, we need it, so give it to us," I said, not going to bargain with a villain from the '40s.
"I can't do that. In order to get the Stone, you must sacrifice the thing you love most. A soul for a soul."
"Sacrifice? In what way?" Clint asked, both not wanting to hear the answer.
"Jump. Jump of the cliff and the other one will receive the Stone."
"I'll jump, I've got nothing to lose."
"No, you have a family, I'll jump," I said, stopping him.
"You do too, Nat, you deserve it way more than me. Please, tell Laura and my kids that I love them."
"Tell them yourself."
I started running towards the cliff, but then Clint tackled me.
"Nat, you can't sacrifice yourself. We'll find another way to get it, don't do it."
"I know I have a lot to loose, but it's the only way. Steve can raise Mary on his own and he'll have a lot of support, but I made a promise to Y/n to find a way for him to come back and I will keep it," I said, throwing my elektrocuting device at him, giving me the chance to jump.
But Clint had other plans, because he used a grippling hook to let himself fall down and catch me.
"Hold on tight, Nat, I've got you."
"It's okay."
"No, please don't do it."
"It's okay, you can let go."
And with that, I let go of Clint's hand and let myself fall into the deep. It was the only way, I know we'll win the war.
A/n: Okay guys, I know a lot of you might get pissed because I let Natasha die instead of Clint, but there's an explanation behind all of this. In Avengers: Endgame, Natasha was the one who was sacrificed because she finally found the family she never had, and for a long time, didn't think she would deserve.
Natasha died because she believed that in that way, her family could be reunited, even if that was without herself. If I would've made the decision to let Clint be the one who jumped, I would totally take the heroism away.
Sure, it would still be an act of bravery, but it would totally go against everything that happened and against everything Natasha fought for. Knowing that, it was still painful, yet the only way this story could continue.
And last but not least, Natasha won't be resurrected, simply for the same reasons. Of course she'll be mentioned, but she won't physically be there anymore.
