Chapter 10: Better than ever

Your Pov:
For the first time in a very long time, I didn't have a nightmare. When I woke up, the first thing I saw was Peter's face, still asleep. I played a bit with his hair, when he woke up.

"Morning, spidey boy." I said with a smirk on my face.

"Morning, you." he said with a raspy morning voice.

"Get up, you dipshit. We still have school." I got up from my bed.

"Wait, you are going back after what happened? Are you sure that's a good idea?"

"Look, I know you are scared, I'm too, but dad is taking us to school to explain what happened to the principal. And he might make a big, dramatic entrance, so be prepared to be impressed." I told him, with a smirk on my face.

We walked downstairs hand in hand, which might not have been the best idea.

"Yes, I knew you were gonna end up together. Pay up, Wanda." Natasha said as soon as she saw we were holding hands.

Me and Peter just stood there with a shock on our face.

"You placed a bet on the love life of our goddaughter? Natasha, that is wrong." Steve said dissapointed.

"Yeah, listen to your husband, Natasha." Wanda said while handing Nat 10 dollars.

"We are not in a relationship."

"Oh thank god. Kids, don't scare me like that. Pepper, why did you say they were in a relationship?"  Dad sighed with relieve.

"I didn't say that. I said they liked each other, which was obvious from day 1. You can't fall asleep in each other's arms without liking each other."

Now it was dad and Steve's turn to be shocked.

Peter's Pov:
"Okay, that is our sign to go, come on Y/n." I said, while grabbing her hand.

"Dad, are you coming for that big entrance or what? I can't do a dramatic storm walk on my own, now come and stop looking like that." She grabbed Mr Stark's hand and pulled him to the door.

"Yeah yeah, I'm coming. But we will talk about this situation later, young lady!" He said before he sat in the car.

That car ride was the most awkward ride in my life, that's for sure. Once we stepped into the car, Mr Stark began to talk.

"Okay, so you two are not dating? That's great, keep it that way. My little girl's heart will not be broken. No offense, Parker, but as her father I have to protect her. After what happened yesterday, it became very clear that you won't be dating until you're 35, Y/n."

Y/n just sat there with her head in her hands, obvious tired of hearing her father.

"Dad, please, you can't control my life. And for the record, I'm not your little girl, so stop calling me that. And that whole 'you're not dating until you're 35' is the biggest bullshit I've ever heard. It's good that Steve isn't here, because I'd have to blow his head of if he would dare to try and 'Language' me." she made clear.

I'm sorry, but it sounded too funny. I bursted out in laughter, but I stopped until I saw their faces. The only thing scarier than one angry Stark is definitely two angry Starks.

"What's so funny?" Mr Stark asked me. I looked at Y/n, who shook her head very slow.

"Nothing, nothing Mr Stark." I said immediately, because I was not ready to die yet.

Your Pov:
After Dad and me had made our points, we got out of the car. Dad suddenly stood still.

"Wait, we forget something."

I saw the confusion on Peter's face, but I knew what he was talking about.

"A dramatic entrance is never fully complete without super cool sunglasses, Stark lesson number one!" I said.

It's a fact, I can't help it. When we were ready, we walked into the school. Everyone backed away, as we walked to the principals office. I knocked on the door, and we could come in. He stood up immediately whe he saw Dad, and I think I saw him making a bow. As soon as we sat down, Dad started to talk.

"I think you heard that Y/n and Peter left campus. What you don't know is the reason why. Now, that's why I'm here. Yesterday afternoon, my daughter was assaulted by this boy, what was his name again?"

"Flash Thompson." Peter answered.

"Right, thank you. That son of a bitch dared to touch my daughter after she made very clear she was not interested, causing a panic attack. Now, I think that is a good reason to suspend that kid, because he is a danger to society." Yep, he sure knew how to make it dramatic, yet believable.

"And yes, I know that I punched him, but in my eyes I was just defending Y/n like every other well thinking person would've done."

"That is indeed very wrong of him. Y/n, what do you think shoud happen, saying as a victim of this?" the principal asked me.

"I don't think suspending him would make a difference, after he comes back he will start again. My suggestion is throwing him off the math decathlon team. I hate to say it, but he really sucks at it. He didn't even know a simple question. Will it break his heart if you would do that? Yes, probably. Maybe he can think about what he has done, because I don't think I'm the only one he tried to seduce."

"That is a great idea, Y/n. We will make sure that will happen." the principal said with a calming smile on his face.
