KENDRICK'S POV
"Seryoso Kendrick? Sinabi mo yon kay Aquie?" Tila naiinis ta di makapaniwalang tanong saakin ni Nads.
"Why?" Janina asked beside me, one of my work colleagues. Nagkibit balikat lang ako bago kumuha ng inuming alak na nasa harap ko, nasa isa kaming bar dito sa Makati, Jenis wanted to have some booze just like what we always do.
"You just made your situation worst Kendrick." Matigas na utag na Nads, dahilan para mapatingin kami nila Jenis at Janina sakanya.
"Ocean Aquiesha loves her job so much that she devotes her life on it, she sacrifice her time to rest just to aid people who're in ill, tapos sasabihan mo sya ng ganoon? You should have been more careful. Aquiesha's job is one of the hardest especially that she has a soft heart. Losing patients must be one of her nightmares."
"Honey, I'm sure nadala lang si Kendrick ng nararamdaman nya kanina, maybe Ocean can talk to Kendrick abo-" Pinutol ni Nads ang sinasabi ni Jenis at masama itong tiningnan.
"Why will Ocean talk to you again?! You don't have the right to demand her to adjust to what you just said earlier, Kendrick! Masyado mo na syang naapektuhan in the past! And now, ganito parin? Ocean do not deserve to always adjust and understand hurtful difficult situations, she also has her own feelings! So stop demanding as if it's her fault that she cannot be around you for a long time. She chose to be far away from us, from her family, she chose to be alone in order to not hurt herself, and what you just said and still saying is just 'sorry'. What's done is done." Mabilis na tumayo si Nads at naglakad palabas ng bar, mabilis naman sumunod si Jenis upang maabutan ito sa paglabas.
Nadine is right, I shouldn't make it difficult for Ocean to be around me, I should just be quiet and quit being insensitive I was the reason why she left, and now that she's comeback, I am not her reason for it, it's her life before, it's her family.
"You know, judging on what you're doing, you want her attention back. You want to draw her to you again." Biglang sabi ng katabi kong si Janina na nakatingin sa dancefloor.
Tahimik akong napahilot sa sintindo dahil basang basa nila ako base sa mga kilos ko.
"If you want to do it, do it right Engineer." Janina said before standing up and to go to the dancefloor. I just sat there thinking of what should I do. I know I should apologize but I don't know how, I'm afraid she'll throw me out the moment she saw me outside her door.

OCEAN'S POV
"Why do I have to attend that conference again Dad?" Lito at makailang ulit ko ng tanong sa hapag namin. They are asking me to attend a medical conference that'll be held on Batangas, and on that same event, I'll also have to close a deal with an investor also there in Batangas with Kendrick James, for the new hospital of ACOH.
"You do know what happened on that meeting right?" I then asked pertaining about the meeting where Kendrick and I clashed about my vision for the hospital.
"Yes, Ocean Aquiesha I heard, but I do know that you are professional enough to not let it affect pyr business right? Besides you'll just be with him for 3 days, hiwalay naman kayo ng hotel rooms so no need to worry just do what you should do there and problems will be avoided, right?"
Ramdam ko ang tahimik na titig nila Mommy sa hapag, malalim ang buntong hininga at napilitan akong tumango. Kita ko naman ang panghihinayang sa mata ni Kuya Lake ng pumayag ako.
Pagkatapos ng hapunan ay nagsimula na akong magayos ng mga damit na dadalhin sa pagalis ko bukas, malapit lang ang Batangas kaya naman magisa lang akong magdadrive papunta don.
