6. A Date

OCEAN'S POV

"Hoy Dagat!! Bumangon ka na!" Malakas ang boses na katok ni Kuya Lake sa pinto ko.

Argh. I groaned in frustration because it's too early for a wake up call. Madaling araw na ako nakatulog kakagawa ng thesis.

"I'm coming! Stop shouting Kuya!" Sigaw ko pabalik. Pungas akong bumangon para magdiretso sa banyo at magskin care before going out, wearing jogging clothes.

"Why do I have to do this?!" Inis na tanong ko sa sarili ko habang pababa ng hagdan.

Kuya Lake was doing his warm up, same as Kuya Wave, I just did the same when I got closer to them.

We started jogging through our village, marami ring nagjajogging katulad namin.

After 2 laps we went straight home. Sakto rin namang breakfast na. I ate 3 pancakes and a glass of milk before going up to my room to take a shower.

I just continued doing the chapter 2 of our research,when Kendrick videocalled,I put away my laptop before answering him. He's wearing a maroon shirt while brushing his wet hair while looking on the screen.

"Hey, did I disturbed you?" I laughed a little before answering him. "A little. Why?"

"Wanna watch a movie?" He asked before showing the two movie tickets, it's Avengers! I immediately said yes which made him laugh.

"I'll pick you up. Sa gate ng village nyo?"Tanong nya,dahilan para matigilan ako, pero agad ring pumayag when he said that we'll take a jeepney on the way to the mall. I said yes because it's a new experience for me, riding a public vehicle with him must be fun.

He ended the call and I started getting ready. Since he's wearing a maroon shirt I decided to wear a maroon polo dress, it ended up right above my knee and it hugged my body really well.

I sat in front of my vanity mirror and started putting a little bit of make up. I finished up with a setting spray so that I would stay fresh all day.

I looked for my black small Tommy Hilfiger backpack,where I decided to put my small black umbrella and some of my essentials, like my wallet and my small hygiene kit. I also brought the lip and cheek tint I used and my powder.

I finished up my outfit with my Casio gold watch and my three Cartier bungles, I also wore my thin gold necklace I bought from Dubai. I sprayed my perfume before going out of my room.

I went straight to Mom's office where I'm perfectly sure, she is in there. It's Saturday. I knocked twice before going in.

"Mom? Can you braid my hair?" I asked sweetly making her smile a little. "Off for a date my baby?" She teasingly asked before signalling me to sit on the chair. I blushed a little before answering. As she started braiding my hair she asked some questions about Kendrick. Our small chit chat ended when she finished braiding my long black hair.

"Take care Aquie,I know you're happy." She told me before going out of her office. I gave a big smile before going down.

"Takbo! Ah tanga! Bilis Shore humabol ka!" rinig kong sigaw ni Kuya Lake. "Language Lake Augustine!" Saway ni Kuya Wave. "Ang daya mo Kuya!" Sigaw ni Shore na nagpatawa kay Kuya Lake.

Nakita kong nakaupo sila sa lounge at naglalaro ng video games, they stopped when they noticed me. I just went near them before kissing them goodbye's.

"Takecare okay?"paalalang muli ni Kuya Wave bago ko sila talikuran at magdiretso sa shoe cabinet namin na nasa tabi ng pinto. I chose my white Vans slipped on shoes to go with my outfit. With that I went out of the house and got my umbrella because it's a little hot.
