OCEAN'S POV

Our whole week here in Batangas was clearly full of meetings and closing deals with the foreign investors of ACOH. Ngayon ko nalang ulit naranasan ang matagal na pahinga, sa trabaho ko kasi ang makatulog ka ng 6 hours ay big deal na para sa isang on-call doctor.

"You feel so sleepy again my love?" Kendrick asked softly as he leaned in to me, I just nodded like a child and toppled over his chest, I closed my eyes as I inhaled his manly musk scent na mukhang mapapabili ako bago umalis ng pilipinas dahil sobrang mamimiss ko ang amoy nya.

"Ngayon lang ulit ako nakapag pahinga ng tuloy-tuloy, because of my job I don't have time to rest everytime I want to, but as a doctor who love her job it's fine to not have rest like a lazybone." Kendrick was just listening closely to what I am saying as if he is taking in all the things I''ve said.

"Tapos na ang mga kailangan nating gawin dito, we should go home I am sure alam na nila Mommy, also your parents are waiting for us to come visit for dinner."

I felt him hold my hand and interwined it with his. As we watch the beautiful sunset of the beach, he gently pulled my hand to his lips and kissed it gently.

"This hands... this hand saved many people for sure. And this hand will soon have a promise to hold into,whether we are away from each other."

Tears pooled my eyes, hindi ko alam kung tears of joy ba or nalulungkot ako kasi antagal kong inintay na i-congratulate nya ako dahil nakuha ko ang pangarap ko.

"Thank you... for taking me back again. That day when we unexpectedly met in the restaurant, that was not an accident sinadya ko yon dahil gustong-gusto na kitang makita, so many questions and impressions visited me when the HOUNDS visited you, they told me things that made me want to see you in person, kaya pinilit ko si Jenis na isama ako kasi nadulas sya na kasama ka daw nila sa lunch, and then you're really there, looking seriously at your phone, sporting a very appealing hair, and boy the HOUNDS did not even gave you the justice of compliments." Tahimik akong nakikinig sa kwento ni Kendrick habang nakapikit, I was there smiling like an idiot because the way he narrates that day he's so funny.

"And why is it that the HOUNDS didn't gave me the justice of compliments?" Natatawa kong tanong, tila hirap na hirap syang bumuntong hininga.

"Because, you don't deserve to be complimented, you deserve to be described in the most specific way."

Lumakas ang tawa ko sa huling sinabi nya. "Oh, shut up! You sound like a lovesick fool for me."

"Kung alam mo lang, kung gaano ako kabaliw sayo hindi mo na yan masasabi pa sakin. All those years, every magazine, every interview of yours napanood at nabasa ko, I even collected all of those damn magazines that you are in! Volume by volume."

"Seryoso ka jan? HAHAHAHA"

"Stop laughing at me Ocean Aquiesha." At dahil sa sinabi nya ay lalo pa akong tumawa, wala lang pangasar lang.

After watching the sunset ay umakyat na muna kami sa suite dahil napagdesisyonan muna naming ayusin na ang mga gamit at matulog muna bago magdinner, dahil ngayong gabi rin kami tutulak pauwi.

I noticed how few Kendrick's stuff are, isang maliit na luggage lang ang meron sya, samantala ako ay yung ikalawa sa maliit.

Wearing my simple fitted statement croptop and brown sweatpants together with my white Balenciaga chunky shoes we grace our way out of the hotel, the manager waved us and thanked us for staying and enjoying the beach, nagpasalamat rin ako bago dumiretso palabas at dumalo kay Kendrick na nauna na sa labas para kunin na ang susi sa valet.
