Temptation of Wife XV: I Wonder What It Feels Like To Be You

The day has now come. Jungkook will now leave for his flight to London. While Maddison's flight is the day after tomorrow. "I'll miss you." He told his wife, hugging her from behind, and placing soft kisses from her neck to her shoulder.

"I'll miss you too." She started to caress his hands that are encircled around her waist. "This is what we do for a living. Travelling overseas and packed schedules. I just hope Jihyun and Sunri are okay with this, because it really makes me feel sad." Maddison said. With the money Jungkook earns, she can just stop working and be a full time mother to her children, but she didn't. She doesn't want Jungkook to do all the work while she stay inside the house and depend on his money.

She wants to work as well, and earn money from it. Although it really hurts her that she isn't able to spend a lot of time with Sunri and Jihyun. But she's doing her best to spend more time with them, just so they won't feel the loneliness. She knows how awful that feeling is, because she felt that before when her parents would go out for work most of the time.

"The kids, they might be young by age,  but they understand a lot of things going around them. I'm sure they won't mind. After all, we're doing this for them." Jungkook said.

"I don't care how many times I get stressed, how many paperworks that I needed to get done, how many meetings I'll attend, and how many contracts that I needed to sign. As long as it's for Jihyun and Sunri's future, I'm ready to do anything, or sacrifice everything just for them." Maddison, she felt great just by hearing what he said. She always knew that Jungkook would be a good father to their kids.

She got pregnant with their eldest at the age of 18, while Jungkook is 20. The first person who knew about her pregnancy is her brother, Jimin. Aside from scolding and shaming her, Jimin supported her. But he didn't agreed on keeping her pregnancy from their parents, so he advised her to go and tell their parents, because they would be dissapointed if they figure it out on their own or if somebody else tells them about it.

Her mother's reaction was something she never expected. Maddison, she thought that Ara would be angry and ashame of her. But what she showed that day was something wonderful. She smiled and hugged her. No disappointment could be seen. And Maddison was so happy about it.

Her father, Richard, he was so happy about it too. He always dreamed of being a grandfather to her children, although he didn't expect it to happen early, but still, he was happy about. When he found out that Jihyun is a boy, he bought him a lot of clothes, shoes, and other more baby supplies. He was just so excited about it. So when Jihyun finally arrived, he stayed in Korea for 3 months. He literally left all of his duties behind. He loves his grandchildren a lot. Just like how he love his one and only daughter, Maddison Frances.

Flight to London will board in 15 minutes. Sunri and Jihyun are both on Jungkook's arm, hugging him like there's no tomorrow. While Maddison has her head buried on his nape. They won't be seeing each other for a long time, she'll definitely miss her husband. Although this is not their first time getting separated for a long time, it still feels like it's their first, because they stick to each other 24/7, so it's kinda hard for them to be apart.

From the far end, there stood Vera, carefully watching the family infront of her. She is jealous. She envy Maddison for numerous reasons. She's living the life she can't have. The way her parents love her is something she wished her parents could do too. Vera also have a stepbrother, but he's nowhere near Maddison's stepbrother, Jimin. He's a horrible person. Never once did he treat her the way Jimin does to Maddison. She got to live the perfect and happy life Vera always wished for, but couldn't get.

"Sometimes, I wonder what it feels like to be you, to be loved." Vera said to herself.

"To have a happy family of my own, a husband that loves me for who I am along with my flaws and imperfection, have wonderful kids that admires me a lot and sees me as their role model. A loving family who cares about me more than they do to themselves." She said once again.

Vera's life was nowhere near Maddison's. She doesn't have a sweet and caring father who will do anything just to keep her happy and feel loved. She doesn't have a protective stepbrother who would always look after her and be there for her anytime she needs help. But she does have a loving and caring mother.

Victoria Lim, her one and only. Back when she was alive, she would do anything for Vera, just so she can see her smiling. She would take her to different places and make her experience a lot of things she haven't. When Vera is with her, the fun never ends, the smile on their faces would never leave. The joy she brings to Vera is something she'll forever miss. It breaks her heart everytime Vera remembers that, her not having enough money to pay for her mother's surgery is the cause of her death.

She hates the word 'poor'. Because being poor is the reason why she lost the most important person in her life. Being poor is the reason why she lost the only person that brings happiness and love in her life. When Victoria died, her father married a strip club owner who has a son that is 3 years older than her. The woman her father remarried is nowhere near her mother. But what can she say? We can only have one mother and one father, so once we lose them, we can never have another one once they're gone.
