Temptation of Wife XXXVI: Loving You

After Cielo's attack on Jungkook, he immediately thought of a way on how to solve their quarrel. And the first thing that came into his mine is a vacation out of the country. Just the two of them, like usual. The country Jungkook chose is Italy. He doesn't want to have a vacation somewhere in their country because Vera could follow them around and make things more complicated than it already is.

Right now, Jungkook and Maddison are climbing up the stairs of Jungkook's private jet. Their kids, Jihyun and Sunri, will be staying their uncle's house. Cielo will probably visit them there, and also their other relatives.

The jet doesn't have any stewardess to serve them. Just the two of them and two other pilots to fly the jet. Jungkook wanted it to be just them. He wanted to spend some time with his wife. Alone. Before packing up their things, Jungkook and Maddison both agreed on setting their problem aside, and just enjoy the whole vacation in Italy. 

Jungkook handed his wife a glass of red wine and sat beside her. After drinking, Jungkook carried his wife bridal style towards the bed. He threw the comforter over them, and cuddle each other to sleep.

However, Jungkook didn't slept at all. He couldn't, that's why. All he did is to silently stare at his sleeping wife whom is peacefully sleeping in his hold.

The woman infront of him is the woman he's been with for 10 years now. The first time he met her would always remain one of his most favorite memory of her.

His most favorite moment with her is when she brought their two kids into the world. That's just something else. It gives him a lot of happiness everytime he recall that memory.

A very happy looking Vera Lim could be seen as she made her way inside the company. She normally goes to work with a intimidating look on plastered her face. It wasn't a usual moment every employee in the building was used to. Something important must've happened? She's all smiley, that's so not like Vera Lim.

Whatever the reason is, it brought her so much joy, it must be something really important to her.

But for some reasons, her smile dropped when she didn't saw his boss, Jeon Jungkook, in his office. Usually, around this time, he's already here, working. And it doesn't seem like he's here at all, where did he go?

She's her assistant, why didn't she know anything about this? To her, she should be informed.

Since Vera couldn't answer the questions inside her mind by her own, she went down to the floor below. Someone on that floor must've know something about his disappearance.

"Miss Lim, what brings you here?". Daleena asked.

"Where's Jungkook?". Vera asked right away. No more sugar coating.

"It's Mr. Jeon for you, Lim". Daleena snapped.

She smirked, "Mr. Jeon's secretary doesn't know anything about his whereabouts, isn't it part of your job to know where he is? Shouldn't you be fired for that?". Daleena said.

"Just to remind you, Miss Oh, since you forgot. I am his secretary, not his personal assistant". Vera answered back.

"But you took Mrs. Song's job". She mocked.

"Mrs. Song is not just Mr. Jeon's secretary, she is also his personal assistant. Well,  before you came in picture and took her job". Daleena added, making Vera confuse. She's wasn't aware that Mrs. Song was also Jungkook's personal assistant.

"Since Mr. Jeon didn't told you anything about Mrs. Song being his personal assistant too, he probably didn't want you to be one. Maybe he didn't want someone like you to butt in his business".

"Meaning, his whereabouts is none of your concern". Daleena said.

"If you'll excuse me, I have better things to do. Have a wonderful day at work, Miss Lim". Daleena emphasized the word 'wonderful' to anger Vera more.

With that, Daleena walked away from Vera. Leaving her no choice but to go back too and do her work.

Eventually, during break time, Vera manage to find out her boss' whereabouts with the help of her gossiping female co-workers.

"For all the things I did, he's out there travelling with his wife?!".

A determined home wrecker like her would do anything she can just to ruin or destroy the relationship she has her eyes set on. Permanently if possible.

"Oh Jeon Jungkook, you don't take me and what I say seriously. Let's see how hard you'll play next time". Vera spoke. A evil smirk plastered on her face.
