Note: Hello everybody, I decided to stop the voting thingy because I want to end this book as soon as I can. School will start on August and I might be twice more busier than I did before. Waiting takes a lot of time, so nah.

At this point, Maddison already expected Taehyung's team searching for her whereabouts. She lived and trusted a traitor, how could she not know anything about how he handles missing people? By this time, he also probably noticed Legacy's disappearance in the mansion. She doesn't know how he'll react, simply because she doesn't if the love Taehyung gave her daughter was all for the show or not.
Jimin also informed Maddison that Vera is also hunting for her head and is currently roaming around the corners of the nearby street. That's why she needs to stay alert everytime. Not only does she have more than one person after her, but also have children that her enemies could include in their fight and basically use against her for their victory.
But she no longer has anything to worry about, because every single child excluding Rue is kept in a safe and isolated place. And of course, with the help of his supportive brother. After finding out that Rue is not her biological son, the way she views the little boy didn't change. For Maddison, Rue is still her son, it doesn't matter if they're blood related or not.
The reason why she only asked Jihyun to take Legacy with him and leave Rue behind is because it's too risky. The little boy needs a lot of assistance and care because of his serious heart condition. She strongly believe that Taehyung wouldn't include the fragile boy into their mess. Maddison just believe that he won't put Rue in danger just for his own satisfaction. The fact that he kept on paying for Rue's expensive hospital bills and provides whatever he needs, it's quite enough for Maddison to not doubt Taehyung's love for his own son.
Around this time, Jungkook will be released from prison. The strong evidences that Jihyun gathered about Vera will be the cause for his release. But Maddison refuses to let Jimin give the evidences about Taehyung to the police. She couldn't ruin his life like that. Although Taehyung betrayed her, he also did built her from nothing to the two woman she is right now. Maddison just doesn't have enough heart to watch Taehyung crumble.
Right now, Maddison's condition is still not stable. Her wounds aren't even healed, same goes to the bruises that haven't dried yet. Her body is still aching from the accident. But here she is, bravely ignoring all her pain just to put an end to their chaos. Unexpectedly, the phone inside her back pockets started ringing. It's a call from her brother.
"The kids". Jimin spoke. He sounded so hurt, which immediately made Maddison worry.
"She has them". When Jimin continued his words, a black van drove in-front of Maddison. The door was opened, and it showed a smirking Vera with Maddison's four children.
There's no Taehyung she could ask for help anymore. He handled all her problems, and she got so used to it. She didn't even got a chance to try running after the van because of how fast it is. Then, Maddison noticed a small piece of paper near her. It was an address. And unfortunately, it seem like it's the unfinished 50 storey building near Gwangandaegyo Bridge.
"Maddison". She heard someone calling out her name from a far.
It was Jungkook. When she saw him, she immediately run her way into his arms. The unexpected hug startled Jungkook, but it didn't take him too long to hug her back. They were never divorced. Both are still married to one another.
"Our kids". She cried to him.
"I know, darling. We're gonna get them, alright? We're gonna work together and have them back safely". Jungkook told his wife while caressing her hair.
"I know it's gonna be hard because of all the betrayal I did. But I need you to trust on this one. I won't fuck up for the sake of my children". He added before holding her chin to make her look at him.
"I trust you". With that, he gently press a peck on her forehead.
On the other hand, The Kim's household is in pure chaos. Taehyung just got home and immediately found out that Legacy is missing. The little girl would always welcome Taehyung with hugs as soon as he enters their home. But he received none of it when he stepped inside the house a few minutes ago.
He just knew that Maddison was behind the little girl's disappearance. So when he watched the cctv footage, it only justified his assumptions. Taehyung knows who the boy is, it's Maddison and Jungkook's first born.
He called through the telephone on desk and said, "Prepare a flight to Los Angeles. I want everything to be completely sanitized. Medical professionals should also be in the flight. I want nothing bad happening to my son". After that, he ended the call.
He is sending his son to where the rest of his family is at. Taehyung didn't want the young boy to experience heartbreak when Maddison decides to go back to her real family than stay with them.
And just like expected, he received a call from Song Joong-ki before the sun completely goes down.
"What do you have for me?". Taehyung said while brushing his hair using his free hand.
"Maddison and Jungkook is currently together as we talk". What Joong-ki said made Taehyung grip hard on his cellphone.
"They are heading to the unfinished fifty storey building of Mister Jae Chan. The one near Gwangandaegyo Bridge". He continued.
"Unfortunately, Vera managed to get her hands on their children. And yes, it includes Legacy. She managed to follow Jimin at the place where he took the four children. When Jimin went to the police station, Vera ordered her men to blow it up. Though they aren't dealing with any severe injuries, they have a few bruises and wounds. I guess, she's gonna use the kids against everyone". Joong-ki said.
"Ready your men". Taehyung commanded.
"I'm gonna take back what's mine". He added before ending the call.
