A pale looking woman could be seen peacefully laying down the bed. The bruises and wounds allover her body are now properly been took care of by medical professionals. Ever since she arrived at the hospital, she hasn't open her eyes yet though she's in a very stable condition. The whole room was filled with her favorite flowers. The refreshing smell of vanilla scented candles along with an air purifier plus dimmed lights somehow brought calmness and relaxation to the unconscious female laying down the bed.
A man entered the room, followed by a middle-aged male as well. Kim Taehyung and Richard Keith Anglo. Turns out, they're are cooperating with one another. Just like Maddison and Taehyung, Richard is also a close friends to Taehyung's family.
All this time, everything was planned. From the start, until the present time. Taehyung was aware of Vera's cruel intentions on Maddison, so he did whatever he could to save her although he planned everything last time.
Taehyung didn't came to Seoul for nothing. He wanted one thing, and that was to get his most prized possession back. When he found out that she was married and already have kids, he didn't really take it well.
He hated the fact that he waited and she didn't.
His original plan was to use seduction and have her all to himself. Taehyung didn't give a single damn about her marital status. Years ago, when he did a background on Jungkook, he couldn't help but mock and laugh at the lowlife he once was. He couldn't accept how an ordinary man won over him on Maddison's heart.
"I'm impressed of everything. The flow and timing was really good, not a single mistake done". Richard complimented Taehyung's plan.
"Maddison thought she was secretive about meeting Jungkook behind my back. But I'm not mad about that, she actually made my plan a bit more easier". Taehyung said.
Turns out, he replicated the car Jungkook was using that day and drove after the vehicle Maddison was in and caused her accident. While everybody was suspecting Vera, Taehyung could only laugh at everybody's foolishness for not being able to know that it was all him.
Taehyung used his power and influence to bribe the people working in Jungkook's household. And with that, he was able to place a severely hurt Maddison inside Jungkook's hidden storage room.
"Get rid of Jungkook for good, that's the only you'll have my daughter all to yourself". Richard told Taehyung. Both of their eyes couldn't leave the fragile woman before their eyes.
"I got Jungkook trapped, there's no way he'd escape me". Taehyung chuckled after speaking.
"If it wasn't for Vera being my son's mother, she's probably dead by now. Though I wouldn't mind her gone for good". He continued.
"The cristisms she's receiving for my wrong doings is quite good enough for me to spare her in the meantime". Taehyung added.
"Let's visit her later, we should work on Jungkook's case. I need that bastard on a life sentence to satisfy myself". Richard said, before they both exited the room.
Soon, Maddison opened her eyes. She felt betrayed in so many ways. It was too much. She trusted Taehyung with all her heart. Maddison was aware of what he was doing along with her father. She knew about their plans, including the car accident she was involved. But she didn't want to believe it as first, Taehyung was too good for it to be true.
"He named Legacy. My little girl loved him so much, how could Taehyung do this to her? My daughter did nothing wronh. Just why would he betray my baby like this?". She questioned before breaking down.
"Rue". Maddison said.
"I thought he was mine". She felt betrayed. Taehyung went so hard on her.
Maddison didn't care about her own feelings at the moment. She was worried about Legacy when she finds out that Taehyung's affection was never really genuine or true. Same goes to Rue, she doesn't know how he'll take it once he finds out that the mother he loved was never really his to begin with.
"Taehyung". Maddison cried.
"I trusted you".
"With my heart". She sadly said. Maddison fell for him, way too long ago.
She actually thought about confessing how she genuinely feel about him. Maddison even thought of having children with him. She really wanted to settle down with him and leave the chaotic life in the city. But after hearing what they said when they both thought she was unconscious, she felt foolish.
Her father. Richard betrayed him as well. He was aware about the car accident Taehyung was planning, yet he did nothing to stop. He didn't even think about her safety. Like, what if everything didn't turn out as planned and she died on the spot? Maybe, just maybe, this was the reason why Maddison's mother filed for a divorce. Ara probably couldn't stand Richard's true colors.
Without wasting anymore time, Maddison forced herself to stand up from the bed, ignoring the awful pain surrounding her body as she continued walking her way towards the direction where the telephone is at.
"Jimin". She called out for her brother's name as soon as he picked up the call.
"Save me". Maddison told him.
