Turns out, the two rivals in love accidentally met one another while searching for the kids. Vera and Maddison stares at each other with pure hatred visible in their eyes. No fear could be seen at all. Both are determined to put an end to each other's lives. They both wanted one thing, and that is get rid of whatever that's stopping them fy6rom living life the way they wanted.
"Coming here is your biggest mistake". Vera told Maddison.
"Instead of meddling with my business again, you should've continued living your life with Taehyung. You would've enjoy the second life God gave you". She continued.
"Cut the bullshit, you want both men all to yourself". Maddison fired back.
"Why else would you have a child with Taehyung and still want to intervene in Jungkook's life?". She questioned Vera.
"You want them all to yourself, Vera! Simply because they both have the money you've always fantasize about ever since a little kid". Maddison spoke.
"And not only do you want to get rid of me for being Jungkook's wife, but also because I'm the billionaire's daughter. You envy me for everything I have that you can never ever get for yourself". She added.
"Oh darling, you got it all wrong". Vera started laughing.
"I'm getting revenge for the better life I could've lived if it wasn't for your father". Vera confessed.
"Or should we say, OUR father". She added.
All this time, Vera knew who her target was. Everything was carefully planned, from the day she entered Jungkook's company as his temporary secretary until now.
"Have you gone mad? I'm an only child, Vera. You're talking nonsense". Maddison said, unable to process what she was told.
"Your father met my mother during his business trip in Tokyo, exactly three years after your birth. Your father is a great manipulator, he gaslighted my mother and easily made her believe it was love when it really wasn't. I was conceived before his trip there could even ended. But when he got to know mom was pregnant with me, he left Tokyo in a blink of an eye. He went home to you and your mother like nothing happened". Vera started explaining.
"I guess you have no clue about the real reason of your parent's divorce, Maddison. How disappointing". Vera mocked.
"Stop feeding yourself with lies. We're not sisters, Vera. We just can't be one". Maddison said.
"But we are, Maddison. And there's nothing you could do about it, sister. I knew who you were. Way before you could ever get the slightest idea about my existence".
"I was aware that I am the daughter of America's multi-billionaire. But at first, it was a bit confusing for me as a little girl. After all, I was living in a crappy house while you on the other side was enjoying your stay in multiple mansions located at different places".
"But growing up, I didn't care at all. My mother loved me enough. We could've ran after your father and ask for financial support, but we didn't".
"We never once asked for anything. Not until my mother got sick and I struggled to earn money to pay off her hospital bills. I didn't care if I was getting enough sleep or not, I work every single day and barely take any breaks. But still, I wasn't able to have the situation the way I wanted. I couldn't afford it even if I work hard".
"I asked Richard Keith Anglo for help. But not as his forgotten responsibility, but as a person badly in need of help. At first, he was okay about it, but when he got to know who I was asking him to help, he disappeared the same way he did in Tokyo".
"I never asked for too much, I just wanted my mother alive and well. But even during critical moments, he refused to help the woman he abandoned after impregnation".
"I understand you, Vera. But that doesn't mean you can still freely walk around after committing horrible sins". Maddison told her.
"ARE YOU OUT OF YOUR GODDAMN MIND?! You still have both of your parents alive, what do you mean by saying you understand me? YOU DON'T. AND NEVER WILL".
"Whatever that happened has nothing to do with me or my children, Vera. You should've chose to deal with the situation differently instead of doing what you've done already. What our father did was wrong, but what makes you any better? You already shortened a lot of lives". Maddison spoke.
"There's no turning back, Maddison. What has been done is already made. I have no one. I lost everything already. But I won't live as a prisoner with unfulfilled goals". Vera answered her.
"It's not late yet, Vera. Just face the consequences and you'll have me. We're sisters, I can forgive you and help you with everything. Just stop what you're up to, so no one will get hurt".
"It's not as easy as you say it is, Maddison". Vera smirked.
"If I drop this gun, won't you take the opportunity to shoot me? I mean, I bring chaos in your lives. Who would waste such opportunity?". She added.
"If I stop now, will everything get back to how it was before? NO! I won't get back the precious mother that I've lost. It's not like we can just forget the sins I committed. That's not how it works. So stop talking as if you know how to solve the mess I'm wrapped around with".
"But you have a son waiting for you". Maddison said, catching Vera off-guard. She didn't expect Anglo to bring her son into their conversation.
"He doesn't know who I am in his life. And it's better off that way, Maddison. Don't bring him into this". A frustrated Vera said, though the unexpected mention of her son made her feel sad.
"Rue needs you". Maddison spoke, which caused to trigger Vera's emotions even more.
"FUCKING STOP ALREADY". She started shooting all over the place, luckily Maddison hid before any bullet could penetrate through her skin.
Suddenly, a loud scream caused by extreme pain echoed through the building. Jungkook with no hesitation just shot Vera from behind. At the same time, Taehyung arrived with his men. The people Vera hired people appeared as well. Causing a much more bigger fight to occur. Jungkook ran towards Maddison as fast as he could to get her first before anyone those. Especially when Taehyung is also around, she could be taken by him and be hid somewhere no one but only he knows.
"We have to get out of here". Jungkook said before grabbing her arm.
"The kids". Maddison spoke.
"They're not here anymore. They managed to escape. All of them are probably at any floor level beneath where we are". He answered her.
"Let's go, Jungkook. I need to see them first, my heart will never be at ease without seeing them before my eyes". Maddison answered.
"No one is leaving alive". Vera spoke like the crazy person she is.
"If everyone wants me dead, then I'm gonna take all of you with me". She added.
