Though the class had now no choice but to absolve Shine and Wally of suspicion, openly, they were still convinced something must have happened while they were gone.

Hagakure even went in Shine's room and found her clothes had tears in them from Hawk's feathers. She couldn't guess what could have caused them. She didn't find any other sign of a fight.

Some of the class discussed it, they did not include Momo, Bakugo, or Todoroki in the conversation.

Jiro said what they were all thinking: "They are definitely up to something weird. Even if it's just extra training, why is it such a big secret? It just doesn't make any sense."

"Based on the evidence, what's our most likely conclusion?" Shoji wondered.

"They're fighting villains!" Kaminari thought this was the most exciting explanation.

"Whatever they are, they're tyrannical bullies," Mineta whined.

"Setting you straight was the only thing they did right!" Tsu said roundly.

"Yeah," Sero agreed.

Mineta scowled.

"Well, what do we do? Confront them again?" Uraraka said, "I mean, we still have no real proof. And they keep weaseling out of it."

"Correction, Likstar does. I don't think West is that smart," Jiro said, "If we could just separately talk to him, maybe. Or talk to her when he couldn't back her up. They're pretty much unbeatable together because of their powers, but apart they aren't so invincible."

"We'd never catch West, and Likstar could just toss us all through a portal," Kirishima said.

"You want to find out what's going on or not?" Jiro said.

"As class rep, I am concerned for our safety if we don't verify this, and if our teachers don't have any evidence, it's our duty to find some," Iida said, "After all, we're around them the most."

"Who wants to ask, though?" Kaminari said.

Everyone looked at him.

"Oh, heck no, I can't do that. It's too out of nowhere," he said.

No one else wanted to confront them about it, but finally, Iida decided it was probably his duty as rep to do it.

Yet by now, he knew admitting to snooping would only make them angry.

So he asked them if they had had any trouble while they were away from the school for the couple days.

"Nope," Wally said very nonchalantly.

Iida was hoping for more. He pushed his glasses up. "Well, we're glad you're both safe. WE were afraid that, away from the class, you might run into trouble. There are so many villains out there now."

"There sure are," Shine agreed. "Though, haven't they been kind of quiet when it comes to your school?"

"Yes, the theory is that they are amassing a larger force, even uniting with a group known for thinking people should use their quirks without limits," Iida said that like it was a horrifying thought.

Then he recalled that Shine and Wally had often expressed that they didn't understand the limitations, what if that appeals to them?

They did look intrigued, though he didn't notice it.

"I think I saw something about that," Shine said. "The Paranormal Liberation Army, right?"

"That's the new name, I believe. They're the opposite of the Hassekai gang in every way, except hat they are both brutal villain groups. Ant the LOV joins will be violent and aggressive." Iida shook his head. "They follow after the hero killer Stain's ideology."
