With Camie there, it seemed like a good evening to have a "secret club" meeting.

They filled the kids in on Mirko's reason for showing up and Aizawa's request about Kurogiri. There seemed no reason to hide it.

Hearing the news about his state now fully explained sobered all of the teens, even Camie.

"That's messed up," she commented, fiddling with a lipstick tube.

"I know you're infiltrating the LOV to get to the worst villains," Shoto looked at his hands and scowled. "But knowing they were using a guy like that, even the very first time they attacked us in the USJ... I don't see how you can stand to be around them."

"People aren't always that simple," Wally shrugged, opening a package of chips.

"They're evil," Momo shook her head.

"Didn't you observe anything the other day?" Shine inquired.

"Yes, I saw them try to kill you, when you never did anything to them." Shoto clenched a fist.

"But it was high key boss as heck the way ya'll handled that," Camie gave them an a-okay sign.

"Is that all you saw?" Shine pressed.

"I think you're trying to say they weren't so bad," Bakugo frowned. "But, just because they care about each other a little, dens mean they're good people."

"And the hoers aren't good people just because they fight on the side of the law," Shine retorted.

"That's the definition of being on the right side," Shoto said.

"No it's not," Shine insisted. "We talked bout this before. Also, this isn't really fair is it? I know you've personally concealed they truth about a friend of yours who nearly committed a felony also, and only didn't because you stepped in. Why do you get to show mercy to that person, but we can't to these villains?"

The other teen looked at Shoto in confusion.

"Who is she talking about?" Momo asked.

"I...someone...I know," Shoto was off balance. "But that was different. That person never did it, he just though about it."

"He got pretty dang close to it," Shine was firm. "And it was lack of ability, not intentions. To God that doesn't matter at all, and not to me either. But you gave him understanding. Why? Because you have a personal relationship with that person and you see there is more to them than that. Suppose we had the same thing with the villains."

I thought you were only trying to get information," Momo said.

"You can always be doing two things at once," Wally shrugged. "And we started this partly out of concern for them, we just start to think their allies, so called, might be the biggest problem they have."

"There's a difference between someone who is mostly good and makes one mistake, and someone who has made it many times over the years." Shoto was not convincing.

Shine got a look in her eye that Wally knew.

"Buckle up, kid," he muttered.

"Let's explore that," Shine said in her most pedantically stern voice. "I forgot how much an expert on the LOV you are. Tell me their motivations for what they do."

"I know they hate All Might and they hate heroes," Shoto frowned.

"As they just hate you all for no reason? They just woke up one day and decided 'let's hate heroes today'?" Shine mocked.

Shine was so cutting when she did this, even Camie flinched.

"It's not that," Momo protested. "We know how Stain influenced villains to judge heroes."
