The Team was called to the Mission Room to watch what was happening. There seemed to a massive ship heading for Earth. The two Green Lanterns approached the ship.

"Attention. You have entered the boundaries of Earth space. Disengage all weapons and engines. This is your final warning." Green Lantern John stated. The ship just fired a ray from a cannon in response. The two Green Lanterns used their rings to shield themselves, but they had no effect, and they were disintegrated.

"Code red. Full offensive deploy." Batman ordered, pressing a button inside his Batplane, which open a door below. Superman, Captain Marvel, Captain Atom and Martian Manhunter flew out. They flew at at the ship, which fired two rays.

Batman flew his Batplane out of the way, by the other Leaguers got disintegrated by the rays. Batman was shocked. Suddenly, a smaller scout ship appeared, and disintegrated Batman as well.

The Team watched all this, showing no emotion. Zatara appeared on another transmission.

"Tornado, did you...?" Zatara began.

Tornado nodded. "Yes, Zatara. We saw. Celestial defenses have failed. Initiate all terrestrial measures." He said.

Zatara nodded. "Affirmative. See you in the field." He said, before he ended the transmission.

Tornado turned to the Team. "I must join the League. We will protect the planet at all costs. But should we fail, the responsibility falls to you." He stated.

Kaldur looked at the Team, then back to Tornado. "We stand ready." He said.

Tornado nodded. He headed to the Zeta Tube. Nick ran after his uncle. Tornado turned his nephew. Nick hugged him, Torndao hugged him back, then released.

"Be careful." Nick said. Tornado nodded, before he entered the teleporter, while Nick went back to join the Team. Nick stood next to Artemis. The Team watched, as Wally's aunt, Iris was reporting from Central City.

"This is Iris West-Allen, reporting live. The extra-terrestrials have brought their relentless global attack to Central City." She reported. Nick saw civilians get disintegrated. A scout ship was about to disintegrate Iris, but she was saved by Flash, who ran her out of the way.

"Tropsnart siht namaremac ot ytefas!" Zatara recited. The spell caused the cameraman to teleported a rooftop. Flash ran Iris to the same rooftop, and put her down.

"You should both be safe here, at least for now." Zatara stated.

"Thank you, Flash." She said, looking at her husband. "And Zatara." She added quickly, Flash placed a hand on Iris' shoulder, before he sped off.

"Noitativel won!" Zatara recited. The spell created a platform under his feet, which he used to fly.

Iris looked at the camera. "Denny, you okay?" She asked. The cameraman gave her a thumb up, making her smile.

Iris continued. "As you can see, the Justice League is attempting to hold the line." She said. Nick saw Flash and Zatara, as well as Civilian that they tried to sav, get disintegrated. Artemis grabbed her brother's hand, and squeezed it. Nick squeezed back in thanks.

Iris was shocked. "No." She said. The Team saw a scout ship come at Iris from behind. The Team saw Cat Grant in a news studio, watching the feed.

"Iris. Iris, get out of there!" Cat shouted, but it was too late. Iris got disintegrated.
