I hadn't gotten to hang out with Luke, not even at lunch anymore. He never sat with us at lunch anymore.
And I missed him. It seemed like we had just started hanging out again, but now it was back to how it used to be except vice versa. I realize how shitty it must of been for Luke.
"Ashton," I whined, laying my head in his lap, Michael, Calum, and I were all at the park bored out of our minds waiting for his drug dealer or something, "You're wise, let me ask you a question."
He chuckled, "I'm only a year older than you."
"Yeah, but you're like an old man so what's the difference?" he pushed me off his lap, I deserved it, "But really," I rolled over so my chin was on his thigh, "I need boy help."
"Do I look like a girl too?" he laughed.
"I dunno, you know how guys think," Ashton shrugged, so I figured that's my cue, "Do you think I should get back with Matty?"
Ashton looked shocked, and I heard the other two boys scoff, "Why would you do that?" Calum asked.
I shrugged, "I thought you were over him?" Ashton asked.
"I've never said that," I mumbled, maybe I did but I just didn't want to seem weak.
"Actually, you've probley said it ten times," Michael commented. (I kicked him in the shin.)
"No, but really why do you want him back?" I shrugged again, because really I just missed him and I knew what they were just going to say only time is needed so I said something even lamer.
"I was happy with him and now I'm not," I said.
"Well, I'm all about doing whatever makes you happy, but didn't he like, cheat on you. Like multiple times?" Calum asked.
"That's not the point," I mumbled.
"Well, whatever you want to do, I'll support you," Ashton said, patting me on the head, while the other boys agreed.
Maybe I understood why I hung out with them.

"So how are you going to go about this," Sophie asked Sunday night, since I couldn't hang out with Luke because he was too 'pre-occupied' with Stacy, but he wouldn't understand this anyways.
Sophie was the most accepting and understanding anyways, because she had been through this with Calum last year.
"I don't know, you're the pro at this," and it was true, Sophie is high key the flirt at our school.
"Right, right," she said more to herself, "We should watch Clueless."
"What the fuck." I said, this was bullshit, "Sophie, no. Just tell me what to wear."
"Oh yeah!" I'm good at that!" I swear to God, I'm never doing bars with her again.

"Hey, Matty," I said, walking up to his crew with complete false confidence, (thank God for alcohol).
"Ah," Matty said, his possy making room for me, "you've come home."
I hummed, wanting nothing more than to put my lips against his neck.
I got on my toes, putting my red stained lips against his ear, "Why don't you meet me during fifth."
It was his turn to hum, "Where?"
"You know where," I said, after I had already started walking away, I heard his chuckle and the death glares being thrown my way.
By third period my buzz had worn off, but I was now high from the amount of perfume Soph had sprayed me with.
"Luna, Luna, Luna," Matty said as he walked towards me slowly and leisurely, the only way he did anything.
"Yes, I'm glad you remembered my name," I said, jumping up to sit on the window sill, I still wasn't taller than him.
He hummed, "I have missed your sarcasm."
"Is that all you missed," I purred, wrapping my arms around his neck as he stepped closer.
"I don't know, you'll have to remind me."

The following weekend, was spent at Matty's pent house, once again. Luke making only a quick appearance just to be swept up into a room by Stacy.
"Luna, can I talk with you for a second," I heard Luke's voice from behind.
I looked up and smiled, but he was glaring down at Matty, "Lukey!" I screamed splashing him with water.
"What are you doing with him?" Luke said, still in a quiet tone like he didn't want anyone to hear.
"What do you mean, mate?" Matty asked in a protective tone while wrapping his arms around shoulder.
Luke rolled his eyes but his cheek still turned red, "Just remember our promise, Luna."
Luna furrowed her eyebrows, trying to think past the phase of the alcohol. Then she remembered her and Luke's promise she made in town, "Whatever," she mumbled, if Luke could have his fun so could she, "You wouldn't understand."
"Luna, you're being ridiculous."
"Luke," she said a bit louder.
"Hey," Matty spoke again turning his attention back on Luke, "You're upsetting my girl so I think you need to leave."
"Yeah!" One of Matty's friends chimed in, "Get outta here, you prick!"
"You're ruining the vibe," another said, and each word, Luna could tell, was pulling Luke further back into the dark.
"Please, Luna," he said his eyes turning red this time, he stood up and walked away.
"I told you I don't like you hanging out with that crowd," Matty whispered in my ear.
I shrugged, "I'll do what I want when I want," I stated, already beginning to nibble on his neck, "So let's go to the bedroom."
Fuck this. Fuck it all. I should get to have fun too. And I sure as will have fun.
