"Genevieve! What a lovely surprise, what brings you here?" The lady asked, holding her golden chalice as she took a sip.
"My name is Madison now. And don't play dumb. You know just as well as I that I'm not stupid."
"You're right. You were always an intelligent child. Though, I didn't expect you to figure out so soon."
"Really, Mom? Black Mercy?!"
"Oh it's just a harmless plant Madison. You're overreacting."
"You know better than I that it is far from fucking harmless. It could have killed her."
"It's harmless if Bartholomew had let her succumb to it. I knew he wouldn't."
"You know, I'm slowly beginning to lose the respect I so strongly and proudly held for you. I see why Barry dislikes you so."
"Don't say that!" Her mother scolded, the words cutting deep.
"I assume you were behind the Red Kryptonite too?"
"Yes. I was."
"Why though? I don't understand it. Kara has done nothing to you except make your son happy. I thought that's what you wanted!" Madison said with confusion lacing her tone.
"Precisely Madison. My sons heart was aching for her. I could see it. I assumed the Red Kryptonite might have given Kara that little boost to blurt her feelings out to him but I'm afraid that failed. So I placed her under the influence of Black Mercy. If that didn't work then I have no idea what would have. However, much to their fortune, it worked. They're back together."
"Kara's awake? And they're together?"
"Yes, they are. My son is now happy."
"But what if it didn't work? You put Kara's life on the line. That was a huge risk. They'd have found their way back to each other eventually."
"Of course they would have. I just gave that little push they needed." Aphrodite said
"You may be the Goddess of Love but don't play Cupid. Don't get yourself involved in affairs that don't concern you. For someone who is the Goddess of Love, your advice on it is shit."
"And what is that supposed to mean?"
"You tried to keep me together with Thawne, knowing the toxicity of the relationship. And now, you almost killed Kara twice."
"It got them together."
"Oh gods, it's like talking to a brick wall with you! Stay out of Barry's life if he doesn't want you in it Mom." Madison finished, before storming out of the palace she grew up in and her mother abided in.
"Stop moving me!" Lizzie whisper yelled.
"Shh! You're going to wake them up!" Alex whispered back.
"Look! Awww." Lizzie said quietly
"Guys. What on earth are you doing?" A tired Kara grumbled, her hand touching her head.
"Shit, we woke them." Lizzie said.
"Who cares, it's late anyways." Alex said.
"But they looked so cute."
"Guys, what is your problem?" Kara asked.
"Nothing, you were just sleeping next to Barry. And Adelaide. In the DEO. And we saw you and thought you guys look adorable." Lizzie said.
"And would make an adorable family." Alex added.
