"James I may or may not have let it slip to Marlene that you and reg were engaged and she told dorcas who told Alice who told lily who told Snape who must have told someone else.."

"get on with it Sirius" I said trying not to freak out because Sirius was never this nervous

"your parents are in Minnies office and they know your engaged" 

my heart dropped I had spent some time debating how to tell them but I hadn't thought of it probably yet I was going to tell them over break but now it looks like I'm telling them now, I knew they excepted me and they new we were dating but we hadn't even been together a year and he wasn't sure how they would react but they had to get married for at least have a contract written up to stop regulus being forced into an arranged marriage.

I looked over at the boy now with his head on my chest he looked scared and I knew I needed to stay calm for him or he would freak out this isn't what he needed when he was just starting to recover and I knew it was going to be a long recovery.

"hey reg its going to fine they won't mind they really like you and they will understand I'm sure my mum probably just wants to start planning but e won't start till you are ready"

"ok I'm just worried what if they shout what if they say we cant get married what if they send me back to my parents"

I could see him going into a spiral so I pulled his face level with mine landlocked at him.         "they will not send you away my love they will not shout they might be shocked but they will understand all my parents want is for me to be happy and they will be excited"

he nodded and gets up he grabs my quidditch super and pulls it over his head its huge in him but he looks really cute so I don't mind I grab his hand and walk out the dorm and head to Minnies office.

when we got there I knock on the door before  entering pulling regulus along behind me my earnest were sat in front of Minnies desk and she was sat behind it they weren't showing any emotion s on there face except my mum had a slight smile which was showing through her mask.

"I guess you know now I was going to tell you during the next break but they were forcing regulus into an arranged marriage which and well me, remus an Sirius crashed the wedding were I proposed infornt of everyone os they wouldn't force him to marry the girl, mum please I know were young but..."

"I love you James and I would never hurt you and if marrying regulus is what you to do then ill allow it I wish you were older but if you think your ready then its fine as long as you let me plan it and you wait till after your NEWTs James" 

I let out a breath when I saw my mum smiling snd I could see regulus visibly relaxing a small smile making its way onto his lips my dad cleared his throat and we all looked at him

" I love you James and I'm proud of standing up for regulus and doing what you think is right I don't care if you marry regulus tomorrow I prefer after the exams but ultimately it up to you as long as your sure and happy about what you are doing" 

I smile at my dad before hugging both my parents and when we break apart I go back to regulus an awe all turn to Minnie to see her silently crying an dI can't help but smirk I always new Iw as her fav student Sirius is not going to happy about this.
