Don't tell - jegulus

The book shop

When regulus woke up that morning he was still laying on James and something inside him was telling him to move and go back to his own bed another part of him a stronger part of him wanted to stay with James and never move again.
Regulus eventually got up after convincing him self that Sirius was going to come in and he could not see regulus like that especially not with his best friend and plus it was a one time this it wasn't going to happen again because he was moving to his own room today and it was only because of his nightmare night nothing more.
Once James finally woke up regulus was already dressed and down stairs talking to Mrs potter with Sirius
"I was wondering were the nearest muggle book shop was I left all my books at home and now have no books"
After a minute Mrs potter turned with a smile "of corse regulus I'll send James with you so you don't get lost do you need any money"
"No I've got my own you have all ready done so much thankyou"
As much as James had hated the idea of going to a book shop he didn't mind that he was going on his own with regulus Sirius had said he would wait at home for them as they weren't going to be long.
When James and regulus left the house they walked along the street in silence and the hole time regulus debated if he should bring up the night before though nothing had happed he felt wired like maybe he should apologise James said a few like this way and not much further but never spoke a full sentence to him till they were at the book shop.
"So what book you wanna get"
"I'm not totally sure I was just going to have a look"
"I might get a new book to read as well any suggestions"
"I didn't know you read"
"Well sometimes when I find a good book"
"Ok well I'll show you a couple"
Once they had looked round a couple isle of the old book shop they had made there way to the back of the shop and regulus was reading the blurb of the outsider when he suddenly just decided that he need to talk about it
"I'm sorry about last night"
"It's fine you had a night mare"
Regulus would have let it drop but as James was speaking he was edging slightly closer and as much as reg wanted to shut it down he did not
"I... sorry about staying in your bed"
"That you definitely don't have to apologise for" and as he kept edging closer regulus could feel James breath on his face and could see his lips and all he needed todo to close the gap was lean up and so he did.
He felt James soft lips gently brush his and it was slow at first but then it was harder his hand curled into James hair to deepen the kiss James biting at regulus lower lip making him open his mouth and it was slow and passionate and it felt amazing.
After they broke apart from each other neither one of them wanting to James let out a low chuckle making regulus smile
"I liked that"
"Me to"
"Maybe you should get your books before I distracted you again"
"Don't tell"
"Trust me I won't"
