Rylee's POV-

"What's on that?" Lucifer asked.

Shit.

"Nothing," I replied, trying to sound as calm as possible.

He raised one of his eyebrows and leaned back on his chair.

"Really?"

I nodded. I was too scared to speak. Not scared for me, but for the waiter.

I will assure his demise once Lucifer gets to know this.

"Give me the napkin," He asked calmly, but I could feel a storm brewing under those words.

"No."

He looked at me with amusement. "Just give me the napkin, Rylee."

"No. It's just a napkin," I explained nonchalantly.

Lucifer smiled sardonically.

He got up, taking slow, but fierce steps towards me and kneeled down to my level, as I was sitting on the chair.

He tugged on my hair and gently pulled it back. He gave a soft kiss on the neck and I shut my eyes.

I was too distracted by this so I didn't notice when he snatched the napkin from my hand.

"No, no, no, no! Lucifer, give the napkin!"

Instead of letting go, he tightened it. He looked me dead in the eyes while slowly opening the napkin. I tried stopping him but he didn't listen.

I knew he saw the number scribbled on it when his eyes turned somber and his jaw clenched.

"Lucifer, let it go," I persuaded.

He ignored me and got up, freeing my hair. I sighed and massaged it to soothe the throbbing pain.

Lucifer scanned the restaurant for Caleb, and spotted him serving another table. He took large strides towards him, clenching the napkin in his hand.

"Lucifer, let's go!" I yelled.

Lucifer went up to Caleb and punched him in the jaw, not caring who was watching.

Caleb fell down, clutching his nose which was bleeding, immensely. Lucifer knelt down to his level and grabbed his chin.

"Did you know that she was my girl?" He asked threateningly.

Caleb gulped and nodded.

"Then why the fuck did you give her your number?!" He yelled, kicking his stomach.

Caleb spat out blood.

"I-I am s-s-orry, si-sir," He managed to say.

Lucifer gazed at him with infuriation and was about to punch him again when I stopped him.

"Lucifer let's go," I said more sternly.

He looked at me and then at Caleb. After giving him one final punch, he grabbed my hand and dragged me out of the restaurant.

Lucifer pushed me into the car while he started driving. He held the steering wheel at such tightness, his knuckles turned white.

"Calm down," I pacified.

He clenched his jaw and turned the car the other direction, not the way to the house.

"Lucifer, where are you taking me?" I asked cautiously.

"Somewhere."

"How very specific. Somewhere can be anywhere!"

He just chose to ignore me as usual and continued driving. He stopped it outside a fucking forest.
