Lucifer's POV-
A knock on the door snapped me out of my trance.
"Come in!" I yelled in a gruff voice.
The door opened and Andrew and Ford walked in.
"What have you done?!" Ford exclaimed, taking in the state of my office.
My paintings were broken, on the floor, and my beer bottles were smashed, shards of glass were lying around. But that was least of my concerns right now.
I. Needed. To. Find. Rylee.
I leaned back on my chair and shut my eyes.
"Lucifer, you need to get hold of yourself. It has only been a day since she escaped. We will find her," Andrew assured.
Ford, for some reason, looked nervous.
"Call Rick, now," I ordered Andrew.
He nodded and left.
"Is there something you wanna tell me, Ford?" I asked him, since we were alone.
He shook his head.
"No."
"Are you sure? You look nervous," I added.
"Yes, I am nervous. I am worried for Rylee. Worried about what you would do to her once you find her."
I sighed.
"What will you do to her when you find her?" He asked in concern.
I shrugged. "Lock her up."
He looked taken aback. "You don't do that to the people you love! You're just making her hate you more!"
"Well, you don't run away from the people you love, but she did!" I snapped back.
She never said she loved you A voice inside my head said.
Fuck off.
"Just go easy on her," He requested, looking at me with pleading eyes.
I just nodded absentmindedly. My sole focus was on Rylee.
The door opened and Rick walked in, Andrew tagging behind.
"You called for me, Don?" Rick asked.
"Yes. I need you to track the Donna down," I ordered.
"Again? How many times does she escape?" He muttered under his breath.
"Alright," He said, switching on his laptop, "from where did she escape?"
"On the main road, approximately 500 meters away from the mansion," I replied.
"Alright. Fortunately, that road has a CCTV. We can just hack into it...trace the number plate of the car she got into, and then track the location of the car. Simple!" He rambled on, more to himself.
Andrew nodded inattentively. "As long as we get the Donna back, just do whatever you want to do."
Rick nodded and continued doing his work.
Fifteen minutes passed and he didn't track her down.
"How long will it take?" I asked impatiently.
"Be patient. It'll take time," He replied.
I groaned and thought of the things I would do when I catch her.
"Why are you smirking like that?" Andrew asked, looking at me as if I had gone mad.
"Nothing. Just thinking....," I trailed off.
"About what?" He persisted.
"About when Ryl comes back," I replied vaguely.
"You mean when you bring her back, cuz she isn't coming willingly for sure," Andrew remarked.
Ten more minutes passed and Rick hadn't finished yet.
"What's taking so long!?" Andrew exclaimed, pulling his hair in frustration.
Rick rolled his eyes. "Why don't you do it yourself, huh?" He asked sarcastically.
"I would, if I knew how to," Andrew grumbled.
"Then lemme teach you," Rick suggested.
"No thanks. By the way, pineapples go on pizzas," Andrew said with a smirk, knowing it would tick off Rick.
Rick got up, steaming , and walked up to Andrew.
"Pineapples do not go on pizzas. Period," He snapped.
"It does."
"Does not!"
"It does!"
"Your taste sucks!"
Andrew dramatically gasped after hearing that and pounced on Rick, dropping them both on the floor.
"You're gonna regret saying that!" Andrew snapped, and pulled Rick's hair.
Rick kicked Andrew on the stomach and shoved him off.
Ford and I chuckled hearing them fight like kids.
"Okay, guys, back to work," I ordered, clapping my hands.
They both groaned.
"Fun-killer," Andrew grumbled.
Rick went back to work, tracing the number plate.
After few minutes, he got it.
I straightened up, eager to hear what he had to say.
"I hacked the CCTV, but the number plate of the car is too hazy. I need some time. I don't know if I can do it," Rick said with a sigh.
"You need to try your best," I instructed.
Rick nodded and left my office to continue doing his work.
Oh, how I missed Rylee.
I shook her thoughts away and read through some files. I needed to meet with the Mexican mafia. I had to sign a contract with them.
Few minutes passed, and I turned to see Ford and Andrew standing like statues in the room.
"Why are you guys still here?" I asked confusedly.
They glanced at each other.
"You never told us to leave," Andrew replied with a shrug. I literally face-palmed.
"Okay. Leave," I said sternly.
They nodded and walked out of the office, not before flipping me off of course.
Ford's POV-(Surprise!)
Lucifer's wrong. He can't just force Rylee to marry him. She wanted to take things slowly by giving him a chance, but he, being the dumbass he is, wants to rush things. Rylee is currently staying with a guy- Christopher Williams. How do I know, you ask. Well, I had Rick track Rylee's location before Lucifer asked him to. I ordered Rick to not reveal her location to him. For her safety. God knows what Lucifer would do when he gets her back. I shudder even thinking about it. I purposely blurred the number plate so Lucifer wouldn't track her down. I don't want him to harm Rylee or possibly hurt her.
I tried my best in keeping him away from Rylee, and I still will.
