Rylee's POV-

Currently, I was in the cab, riding to Alexia's house. I bid Chris goodbye and kissed him one last time. I will surely remember him. He had given me an extra phone. I called Alexia with it.

"Hey, this is Alexia."

"Alex, this is Rylee."

"Wait- what? OH MY GOD! I missed you, bitch!"

I chuckled.

"I missed you too. Um, I need to ask for a favor."

"Sure, shoot."

"I need to move in with you."

"Of course you can! You don't even need to ask! It's gonna be so fun! We can go clubbing, get drunk and play video games together! Wait a sec... You are back in New York!?"

"Yeah, long story. I'll tell you when I reach."

"Alright. I am texting you my address."

"Okay, bye, love ya!"

"Bye bitch, love you too."

I hung up and received her address. I told the cab driver the location and he started driving.

After a while, he reached her house. The area looked deserted but her house looked cozy. It was a small bungalow.

I walked up to the door and was about to knock on it, when it was opened by an extremely excited Alexia.

"Rylee! I missed you!" She exclaimed and hugged me tightly.

I hugged her back with equal force. We pulled back after a few seconds.

"I don't even remember the last time I met you," she sighed.

I nodded sadly.

"So, aren't you gonna invite me in?"

She chuckled. "This is your house too, now. Come on in."

The interiors were so cozy and comfortable.

"I know, this house is not that big but-"

I cut her off, "Alex, your house is perfect."

She smiled. "Freshen up."

I nodded, but halted in my steps. "In which room?"

"You can freshen up in whichever one you like," She replied.

I nodded and walked to one of the rooms, not knowing which was which.

I opened a room with blue walls, blue tiles and blue bedsheets.

Yep, definitely Alex's room. She loved blue.

I walked to the washroom and took a long shower. I was exhausted. I got out, wrapped in a towel, and wore Alex's white tank top and shorts.

I walked to the hall and saw Alex sitting on the sofa in deep thought.

"A hug for your thoughts?" I asked, sitting beside her.

"Isn't it a penny for your thoughts?" Her eyebrows furrowed in confusion.

"It is, but I don't have pennies right now, so I can give you a hug," I replied, hugging her tightly.

She chuckled, "I missed your lame jokes. Anyways, what're you doing in New York?"

"Well, you remember Lucifer? My ex? Well, he turned out to be the American mafia king. We broke up 2 years back, and then I shifted Sydney with Kyle and Logan. Now, recently, Lucifer kidnapped me and took me back here in his private jet. He made me the Donna of the American mafia.

He wanted to marry me. I didn't wanna rush things, but he was adamant. I escaped and stayed with a guy who saved me, Chris. Then, I realized that by staying with him, I would cause him trouble in case Lucifer finds me, so I decided to come stay with you as you live in a secluded place so there is a lesser chance he would search for me here."

When I finished, she stared back at me, unable to process anything.

"He is the mafia leader?" She asked.

I nodded.

"And he kidnapped you?"

I nodded again, as if getting kidnapped was a day-to-day thing.

"He wanted to marry you, so you ran away?"

I nodded.

"Oh. My. God!" She yelled. I covered my ears and scowled.

"Ryl, I swear to god, I am gonna whoop his ass!" She exclaimed, poorly imitating a karate stunt.

I chuckled. She then sighed.

"It's unfair what you have been through. You are more than welcome in my house," She said, smiling widely.

I returned the smile and hugged her. She pulled back.

"Okay, we need to go shopping!" She announced.

"What? Why?" I whined.

 "You don't have clothes, Ry."

 "I can wear your clothes!"

"Nope. My clothes are a bit big for you."

"It's perfectly fine for me!"

"No, it's not. We are going shopping at the mall, end of discussion."

"But he may find me!" I argued.

She groaned. "He won't, Rylee! Wear a cap and sunglasses, okay!?"

I whined but nodded. Persuading her to change her mind was like moving a mountain, impossible.

"What about this one?" Alex asked, holding up a cute, blue crop top.

"Oooh, it's cute,"

I was exhausted. We walked to literally all the shops in the mall. My foots were sore and in agony, while Alex seemed perfectly fine.

She hopped shop to shop with me tagging behind. This was probably the twentieth, or perhaps twenty fifth shop. I bought pajamas, shorts and t-shirts, but Alex didn't feel like stopping.

"Alright, how is this?" She questioned, motioning to a red and white checks boyfriend shirt. It was definitely my type so I nodded.

"Finally, finally something you like!" She exclaimed overdramatically.

She grabbed the shirt and paid for it, despite my objection.

We were walking across the mall, when she hardly tugged on my shirt.

"Let's go there!" She yelled, pointing to Victoria's Secret.

"No," I said sternly.

"Pwease!" She requested, pouting.

I sighed but nodded. I walked in with Alex..

We scanned the racks for a nice lingerie.

"Hmm, I like this one," I commented, pointing to a black lace bra.

"Nice choice," She commented.

I bought that bra, along with few pairs of underwear, while Alex bought a dozen of lingerie.

We paid for it and walked out.

"So, Alex-" I began but got cut off by colliding with a person.

I was about to fall when the person caught me.

I looked up and who I saw shook me to the core.

"Ford."
