Emily POV

"Come on one more routine please" Alanna begs

"Sorry sweetpea I have to get you home" I say "but I promise I will come over soon and teach you the rest"

Alanna pouts but grabs her stuff like I ask and heads out to the car with me following behind, Sam wanted her back early so that she can take her shopping for a new outfit for her 14th birthday party.

"Are you coming shopping with us?" She asks "you have better taste then mum"

"Sorry no can do" I laugh "and you're mum has really good taste"

"Oh right dads calling you isn't he" she says

"Actually he called last night instead" I say

"Are you friends again?" She asks

"Yes we are" I smile

"Oh thank god" she sighs

When we get to Sam's she's in the kitchen and she doesn't look happy, she gives Alanna a hug and then asks her to go to her room.

"Everything ok?" I ask

"No it's far from it" she sighs "the credit card he gave me that was for whatever Alanna needed, it appears that there is a second card  on the account"

"Kim" I sigh

"Got it in one and the bitch has maxed it out" she says

"Ok here use mine and I will settle up with Randy later" I say handing her my card

"How are......girl tell me you have not forgiven him?" She says giving me the evil eye

"I can't" I say biting my lip "and I'm still trying to figure out how he got me to apologise"

"He did what?" She says "why the hell are you apologising? Oh let me guess he said I love you"

"Yeah he knows I can't stay mad at him when he says that" I say

"Girl you've just been played like a fiddle" she laughs "he knew exactly what he was doing and you fell at his feet, he needs to learn that I love yous and puppy dog eyes can't always fix things"

"I agreed to try with Kim" I say

"Try what? Not to kill her?" She gasps "we both know it's not going to work becuase she doesn't want it to"

"Look he said to believe it he has to see it" I say "so we just have to find a way for him to see it"

"What if I film her having a go at you?" Sam asks "he'd have to believe you then"

"Well we can try" I say "it's the only option we have"

"Look if it doesn't work we'll figure something out" Sam says "I know how much he means to you and I how much you two have been through together and I'll be damned if I'm going to let her take him away from you"

"How come you never reacted to me like she has?" I ask

"Because by the time I figured out how you felt I knew you weren't a threat" she says "I knew the most important thing to you was that he was happy and that you would never act on your feelings"

Giving Sam a hug I leave to get herself and Alanna ready and head out to my car, as I start to drive I call Randy's phone.

"Hey Em what's up?" He answers

"Um you paying my credit card bill is what's up" I say

"What why?" He asks

"Oh becuase you added a second card to the account that's meant for your daughter and your wife maxed out the account" I say

"Is Sam pissed?" He asks

"Well I wouldn't try talking to her right now if I were you" I say

"Great" he sighs "ok send me your bill and I'll pay it"

"Thank you" I say "and while you're at it get your wife her own card, you never should have added her to that account, it's for your daughter and right now I'm paying for her"

"Em..."

"Don't you dare" I snap "that is not going to work this time, you messed up and you need to fix it"

"I know and I will" he says "I'm sorry Em"

"I'm not the one you need to apologise to" I say "I know I said I'd try but when it comes to Alanna I'm not taking her shit Randy"

"I'll talk to her and I'll get the account sorted out" he says "I'll see you when I get back"

"Yeah see you then" I say ending the call

If he thinks I'm going to stand back and let her mess with Alanna he's sadly mistaken, she can do whatever she wants to me but she leaves my god daughter alone.
