Proof

Next morning
Emily POV

Setting up the camera beside a plant pot out of view, I take a deep breath this is my best chance to prove to Randy whats been going on, and this time I can't fail becuase I will not break another promise to Alanna.

"You ok?" I ask Alanna who looks nervous

"Yeah" she says

"I will be right over there ok, and remember you're not going anywhere with her" I say and she nods

Hearing a knock on the door I leave Alanna to go answer it, whe  I open it I find Kim but no Randy, perfect just how I wanted it to be.

"What are you doing here?" She asks

"Nice to see you too Kim" I say moving aside

I follow her into the living room and then stand back as she approaches Alanna.

"Get your stuff we're going" she snaps at her and I clench my fists

"I don't want to go with you" Alanna says "I want to stay here"

"Why you disobedient little....." I stop focusing on Kim's words as soon as I see her arm raise up, dashing forward I grab her arm before she can slap Alanna.

"NO! Don't you dare lay a hand on her" I shout "Sweetpea go to your room" I say and she nods

"Get off me" she snaps pulling her arm from my grasp

"How dare you raise your hand to her" I snap

"She needs to be disciplined" she snarls

"No what she needs is her father" I say "what give you the right to come between them"

"She takes all his attention, when she's there its like I don't exist" she says

"It's part of being a parent Kim" I gasp "you don't have time to yourself, you don't get all your husbands attention becuase there is some one who needs it more, some one who should always come first no matter what"

"Why are you so bothered she's not yours" she spits

"Maybe not but I love her as though she is" I say "you may have pushed me out but I'm not going to let you do the same to her"

"Aww you love her, just like you love my husband" she says in a mocking tone "and yes I pushed you out becuase I was sick of having to share him with you"

"Yes I love him, I've been in love with him for years and I'm not ashamed to admit it" I say "but all I have ever wanted was for him to be happy and for whatever reason he is happy with you and I would never have done anything to ruin that which you would know if you took the time to get to know me"

"Your not the only one who loves him you know" she says

"Come on Kim we both know it's his money you love not him" I say "to love him completely is to love everything about him, even his faults, it's not maxing out his credit cards or bitching about him to your friends, Randy isn't perfect and unlike you I never needed him to be "

"You right, it is his money I love but you can't do a thing about it becuase he doesn't believe anything you say" she says "so I win, now get her ready so we can go"

"She's going nowhere with you, she is staying here with me" I say "no get the hell out of this house"

"Fine I never wanted her around anyway" she says before storming out of the house.

Sitting down on the couch I take a moment to calm myself down and collect my thoughts, I've done it, I have all the proof I need.

"Has she gone?" Sam asks walking into the room

"Yes she's gone and we have the proof we need" I say

"I heard everything" she says "you want him to hear all that?"

"I'll edit it first" I say "he doesn't need to know the rest"

"Em, did you ever consider that he may feel something for you?" She asks

"I've spent alot of time wishing he did" I say "but no I haven't becuase I really don't think he does"

After editing the footage I hand Sam both memory sticks one mark F for full and the other marked E for edited. She takes them both leaving them on the counter while she walks me to the door.

Randy POV

After receiving a call from Kim saying that Alanna was till refusing to come to our house I decided to drive over myself and see what was going on.

When I arrive I see Emily pull out of the driveway and she looks upset. When I get inside I find Sam and she nods towards Alanna's room.

"Hey baby" I say "what's going on?" I ask

"Dad Emily asked me to give you this" she says placing something in my hand

Looking down I see a memory stick with an F on it.

"What's the F mean?" I ask

"I don't know she just asked me to give it to you?" She says "she said you need to watch it here"
