"What are you afraid that I'm going to steal your woman?" Elijah taunted.

"Babe, stop it. I choose you. You are the owner of my heart." I called out as Liam turned to me.

In less than three steps he was standing in front of me. I hugged him tightly feeling his heart breaking and most importantly he was scared. I stood on my tiptoes making him lean down to me as I locked our lips not caring who saw us. Liam was my mate no matter what and more than my mate he was the man that I love. He broke the kiss before cupping my face and saying,

"I love you so much Pup."

"I love you more than you know, babe." I replied as he chuckled.

Elijah was hurt. I could see it in his eyes but Liam was the man I wanted. I didn't feel anything towards Elijah nor could he calm me the way Liam could. Being around him made me nervous and sent my emotions all over the place but Liam was able to silence it with just a touch of his hand. Elijah walked over to me and grabbed my hand before saying,

"I'm giving up that easy. You are, my person that I've been searching for and I refuse to just let you go, angel." He said.

"I'm sorry Elijah but I can't accept your feelings." I said.

His eyes changed to this glowing green color as he stared into my eyes making me feel uncomfortable. He looked away and his eyes turned back to normal instantly. Liam growled at him again as Elijah growled back.

"Back off." Liam growled.

"No you back off. Didn't your mother teach you not to take things that aren't yours." Elijah protested.

"I marked her first so she's mine." Liam growled back as he pulled me behind him.

"She's my mate and I will make her fall in love with me." Elijah said.

"She is already engaged to me and the Luna of this pack." Liam replied.

"She will be mine." Elijah spat.

"Not even in your wildest dream." Liam growled.

I pushed them away from each other as they stared at each other with this look that didn't even feel right. I hugged Liam tightly, breaking his eye contact with Elijah. He grabbed my hand and started walking back to the house but I stopped him as he turned around and growled at me. I saw Elijah about to walk away but I turned around and said,

"Elijah." He stopped and turned towards me.

"Why in the hell....." I kneed Liam before he could finish his sentence.

"Elijah do I have to give the same treatment or will you follow me?" I asked in an angry tone.

He shook his head and followed me back into the ritual dining hall. Once we were back inside I let go of Liam's ear before turning to both of them.

"CLEAN THIS MESS UP NOW! IT TOOK US DAYS AND HOURS TO GET THIS PLACE IN SHAPE." I yelled as they both looked at me with this weird look.

"NOW!" I yelled.

I stormed out of the room as I took a deep breath not knowing what I was going to do for the next two days. Liam and Elijah were going to be at each other's throats but I knew where my heart resided. I rushed back to the house only to  jump when I saw Liam's grandmother sitting on the sofa.

"Quite a morning?" She said.

"How is this even possible?" I asked.

"You have some wolf blood in you dear. You just don't have enough to shift." She explained.
