After I got home I went up to my room. I started painting the view from my veranda and was done by dinner time. After our dinner of spaghetti, I got a shower. I got into bed, realizing I left the veranda doors open. I will close them in the morning. What will it hurt, it is summer time anyways.

. . .

I wake up in the middle of the night. I dont know why. I look at my digital clock. It reads 3:48 am. I sigh, roll over, and try to go back to sleep. Then my stool falls over and I bolt up. I look in the direction of the stool. When my eyes adjust to the dark, I realize that someone is there. I am about to scream as they run over to me, sit on the bed, and put their hand over my mouth. I bite their hand and they loudly whisper, "Ah, crap!" I slap them in the face and they fall to the floor. I turn on my bedside lamp and see that it is a boy. He has dirty blond hair and brown eyes. He is wearing a black shirt, jeans, and black converse. He says, "Hello there! My name is Christopher Roland. You can call me Chris." I say "Hi I am Dalilah Daniels. Why are you in my room?" He smiles and looks at the floor. He answers with, "I am not a stalker. Every night since you have been here I've been watching you. I wanted to meet you, in person, but that happened horribly. The reason I watch you is because I live here, too, and this sort of was my room." I reply "That doesn't answer why your in my room." Chris grins and says, "Let's just say that I'm a vampire." I laugh. "You are kidding me right?" He looks serious. "Dalilah, I am dead serious. Ha ha that was a pun." I glare daggers at him. "Prove it." He shakes his head. "If you insist." He runs out my veranda and jumps off the railing. I chase him out there and see him standing on the ground. My jaw drops and even more shockingly he begins to come off the ground and he floats up to the railing. "Believe me now?", He asks with a smirk.
