I am asleep when I hear them. I fly down the hall and see Dalilah and that disgusting werewolf. When they start to come up the stairs I float above them. I hold my breath and pour out a sleeping potion that Annalise gave me. The wolf hits the floor almost instantly. Dalilah doesn’t even appear tired.
I float down right behind her and grab her by the hair. I pick her up to where she can barely touch the ground. “Put me down!”, she shouts at me. “Oh, Dalilah, your so foolish to think you could escape this place. Let’s get you back to your chair.” I chuckle and begin to float back to her chair and she grabs my arm. I feel a slight shock going through my arm before it surges through me, causing me to drop Dalilah.
*Sam*
“Sam? Get up we have to go.” Dalilah is shaking me. I sit up and sneeze. I look around the floor and see the remains of a sleeping potion. We have to kill her now. “Chris attacked me, but I electrocuted him.” She has such a big smile on her face. I get up and find the witches’ scent and chase it. Dalilah rushes to catch up and after a lot of twists and turns I find her.
“She is in there.” Dalilah is panting behind me. Then she stops. “Are you ready?”, I ask her. “Sam.” I turn around and I see the problem. Chris is holding Dalilah by the throat and he is holding her arms by her side. In an instant I am in my wolf form and I leap onto Chris.
I bite into his shoulder and he screams. Dalilah comes over and focuses. He shakes uncontrollably as Dalilah electrocutes him. Then his eyes look empty and I stop her. I check, and he has no pulse. “He is dead. Let’s get her too.”
I push open the door and Dalilah goes in first. We see her in her bed across the room. She slowly walks over to the bed and I block the door. In a swift movement she puts her hands on the witch and electrocutes her. Annalise screams and mumbles a spell. Dalilah hits the wall in a burst of purple. Dalilah’s eyes disappear and she gets up off the floor. She takes one look at me and then I hear something sparking.
Dalilah’s hands twitch and her body jolts forward as sparks shoot at Annalise. Annalise goes limp as Dalilah pull her into the air. Dalilah gets and angry look on her face and the sparks get bigger and the witch is terrified. She should have known better than to mess with and Elf. I lunge at Annalise to finish her off. I bite her arm, but Dalilah grabs me in a veil of sparks.
It stings so bad and keeps getting worse. I turn back into a human and shout, “Dalilah let me go! Finish her!” She glances at me and drops me. I crawl into the corner, shaking. “Goodbye Annalise!”, She smiles wickedly and then it seems like a bomb goes off. There is a big burst of light and my ears are ringing.
When the light fades I see Annalise and Dalilah both in the floor. Annalise is pretty much a pile of dust. I rush over to Dalilah and check her pulse. She is fine, just unconscious. I carry her back to the tunnel and back to her house. James sits on the porch and when he sees me he take her. I collapse before I even see him enter the house.
