I wake up from my phone alarm. I checked it,6:00 AM. I stretched.

Isabelle: "Best sleep I've had in a while. Time to make some coffee."

I looked around the room a bit. Still a little delirious,I realized that I woke up in a bed.

Isabelle: "Oh yeah,I'm at Y/N's house. Guess I'll have to ask him where the coffee maker is when he wakes up."

I yawned,walking into the living room. Y/N was already awake,with a mug of coffee in his hands as he sat on the couch.

Y/N: "Oh hey,you're awake. Want some coffee?"

Isabelle: "I was just about to ask,but yeah,thanks."

Y/N: "You're welcome."

He smiled before heading to the kitchen.

Isabelle: 'He had a nice smile."

I sat on the couch,pulled my phone and earbuds out of my pocket and started playing 'Freaky Friday' by Chris Brown and Lil' Dicky. I was humming and slightly bobbing my head to the beat. 2 minutes in,Y/N brought me my coffee.

Isabelle: "Thanks."

Y/N: "You're welcome."

He looked over.

Y/N: "Is that Freaky Friday?"

I took a sip of my coffee.

Isabelle: "Yeah,what do you think about it?"

Y/N: "It's good. I don't mind you playing music in my place. Hell,I might even vibe to it."

Isabelle: "Alright,thanks."

I disconnected the earbuds and we grooved a little to it before it ended.

Y/N: "This might seem a bit odd,but..."

He scratched his head a bit.

Y/N: "You think you could move in? I do have a spare room."

Isabelle: "To be honest, I'd probably be a weird roommate to have around."

Y/N: "Nah,I think you'd actually make a great roommate. We'd probably get along nicely."

I could feel my face turning a little red.

Isabelle: "Thanks,guess I'll be moving in tomorrow."

Y/N: "You can move in anytime,no rush."

Isabelle: "Ok."

A while later,we started our walk to work. We arrived at Resident Services shortly after and we're already prepared for work.

*Y/N Pov

Y/N: 'It's been a good 3 hours since we sat here. I feel like my ass is glued to the seat. I was honestly getting a bit   tired of waiting around,doing nothing. Still,if there's no one coming,that means no one has any complaints, right. Still,can't keep sitting here.'

I looked over.

Y/N: "Hey,Isabelle is there anything we could actually do around the island?"

She thought for a bit.

Isabelle: "Fishing,farming,bug hunting,that's pretty much it."

Y/N: "Ok."

She sprung up from her seat.

Isabelle: "Oh,wait! We could go to Nook's Cranny to buy a slingshot. They also have tools. We could go digging around for fossils. Or look for some balloons to shoot down."

Y/N: "Sounds fun,I guess. Better than just sitting around. But is there a point,popping balloons?"

Isabelle: "Of course there is,some of them have bells,and even coupons for furniture."

Y/N: "Sounds good. Doesn't look like anyone's coming anyway,so let's go!"

We headed off to Nook's Cranny to purchase some tools and a slingshot. Then,we started walking around the island, digging for fossils along the way."

Y/N: "We're never gonna find anything,are we?"

I hear her gasp slightly.

Isabelle: "Oh Y/N..."

Y/N: "What?"

She held up some sort of bone.

Isabelle: "Look what I found!"

Y/N: "Wait,is that a fossil?"

Isabelle: "You ask a lot of questions but yes,Y/N,this is a fossil. Now,let's head to the museum. Blathers will know exactly what this is."

Y/N: "Who's Blathers?"

Isabelle: "The owl who runs the museum,dumbass! Now,let's go!"

She said excitedly.
