I woke up to a familiar voice.

Isabelle: "Good morning,sleepyhead."

Y/N: "Good morning. What time is it,anyway?"

Isabelle: "Around 7:00 AM. Coffee?"

Y/N: "Please."

She smiled.

Isabelle: "Ok."

I grabbed the duffel bag beside my bed and took out two nets. Isabelle walked back into my room with a coffee. She saw me with the nets.

Isabelle: "Bug hunting?"

I drank my coffee before nodding.

Y/N: "I was thinking we could go bug hunting together later this morning.

Isabelle: "I'd love to!"

I went out for my morning jog. After jogging for a good amount of time,I got a bit thirsty. I sat on one of the benches. I grabbed my water bottle,unscrewed the-

Y/N: "Shit. This isn't a water bottle."

I took a tin of coffee powder out instead of my water bottle.

Y/N: 'Fuck. What do I do now? I can't drink this.'

Isabelle jogged over to me.

Isabelle: "Hey,Y/N. How's it going?"

Y/N: "Not the best. I left my water bottle at home."

Isabelle: "It's ok. You can have one of mine."

She gave me a bottle of mineral water and smiled.

Isabelle: "Here."

I smiled as well.

Y/N: "Thanks."

A 500ml bottle of water and I already chugged half of it.

Isabelle: "You must be real thirsty,huh?"

I still had a mouthful of water.

Y/N: "Mmm hmm."

She laughed a little.

Isabelle: "Well,drink up,big guy!"

I checked my watch.

Y/N: "Alright,we should go back now. It's time to go bug hunting."

Isabelle: "Alright,race ya!"

Y/N: "Oh,you're on."

*Y/N's home

Isabelle: "I won!"

I panted.

Y/N: "You are really active."

Isabelle: "You're just slow."

She stuck her tongue out.

Y/N: "Alright,alright,that's enough. Otherwise I won't take you bug hunting."

Isabelle: "Oh,I nearly forgot. Please don't leave me alone again."

Y/N: "Ok,I'll let you off easy this time."

We changed into some more casual clothes,I grabbed the nets and we headed out at about 9:00 AM. We looked around for a bit,and caught a few common insects. A common butterfly,two ants and a bagworm.

Y/N: "Not bad,I guess. But I'd actually like to find something worth keeping. We'll come back later,ok?"

Isabelle: "I agree. Let's go home."

The next few hours were long and boring. I checked my phone every now and then until it finally reached the golden hours. 5:32 PM.

Y/N: "Come on,Isabelle. Let's go."

Isabelle groaned.

Isabelle: "Finally. That took forever."

We walked around the island again. This time,our catches were a little bit better. I had to buy new nets at some point for 800 Bells,but I didn't care. Isabelle and I were having fun. An hour and a half later,we went over what we caught.

Y/N: "Alright,I have a moth,a pill bug and a mole cricket. You?"

Isabelle: "Let's see here,a hermit crab,two mole crickets and a tiger beetle."

Y/N: "Not bad,just wish we could find worth keeping."

Isabelle: "I know what I'm keeping. This hermit crab! I'm calling it... Herman."

Y/N: "That's really nice,Isabelle."

Y/N: 'She looks so happy. I wish I could stay here forever.'

I kicked a rock out of boredom.

Y/N: "Oooh shit!"

A centipede crawled out from under it. It did not look happy. Isabelle walked over and caught it.

Isabelle: "I'm gonna add this to the list."

I gave her a thumbs up. We walked around the island some more. I decided to go near Resident Services since I haven't checked there yet and oh boy,did I get a surprise. My jaw dropped in shock.

Y/N: "Hey Isabelle,get over here,quick."

I whispered.

Isabelle: "What?"

I pointed.

Y/N: "That's a tarantula. I'm gonna try and catch it."

Isabelle: "Be careful. It could bite you."

Y/N: "Ok."

I walked over,and struck with my net.

Y/N: 'Oh shit.'

I missed,now it was real pissed. It took chase after me.

Y/N: "Oh shit,oh shit,oh shit,oh shit."

It bit me.

Y/N: "Ow,fuck!"

I struck again, catching it this time. I felt dizzy. I was seeing double.

Isabelle: "Y/N! Are you ok?"

I put it into a small plastic tank.

Y/N: "I caught it..."

I passed out.

Isabelle: "Y/N!"
