My phone alarm went off.

Y/N: "Ugh..."

I cancelled it and saw a notification.

Y/N: 'Well last night didn't go as expected.'

?: "Awake yet,Y/N?"

Y/N: "Who's this?"

?: "It's me,Marcus."

Y/N: "How'd you get my number?"

Marcus: "I got it from Isabelle."

Y/N: "K."

Marcus: "We'll meet up at The Roost,alright?"

Y/N: *Got it."

*The Roost

Marcus was waving at me from a table. I walked over and sat down.

Marcus: "Morning,mayor. Sorry to bother you with such a task."

Y/N: "My pleasure,really. And call me Y/N."

Marcus: "So,Y/N,how's this going to work? I'm nervous,first time I've fallen for someone."

Y/N: "Well,if you're not going to,I'll ask her for more details,wish me luck."

Marcus: "Good luck,Y/N."

I walked over to Rosie's table.

Y/N: "Heya,Rosie."

Rosie: "Oh,morning,mayor."

Y/N: "There's no need to call me mayor,I prefer Y/N a lil' more."

Rosie: "Alright,Y/N. How's your day going?"

Y/N: "Quite nice,actually. You?"

Rosie: "Been doing great!"

Rosie sipped her coffee.

Y/N: "Whatcha got in yours?"

Rosie: "Mocha,some milk,sugar."

Y/N: "Not bad. I've got an arabica blend. It's good."

Rosie: "I believe I can agree with you on that one. A normal brew with mocha,two sugars and milk is actually pretty good as well."

Y/N: "Oh,that's actually Isabelle's usual coffee."

Rosie: "It is?"

Y/N: "Yeah."

We chatted for a little bit and she gave me her number. Throughout the entire conversation,I felt like someone was watching me. It could have been Marcus though,as he was staring occasionally. Then,we asked for the bill.

Brewster: "200 Bells each,that's... 400 Bells."

Rosie reached into her purse.

Rosie: "Oh,I'm 10 Bells short."

Y/N: "400 Bells."

Rosie: "Thanks,I'll pay next time."

Y/N: "There's no need for that."

Rosie: "I insist. One good purr deserves another,silly!"

Y/N: "It was nice talking to you."

Rosie: "You too."

Rosie left and I sat with Marcus again.

Marcus: "So,how'd it go?"

Y/N: "Here's her number. I'll send you a text when it's time."

Marcus: "Thanks a whole lot."

Y/N: "She's actually quite the chatterbox."

Marcus: "Well,I guess we already have something in common."

He said as he added Rosie's contact.

Y/N: "I'll see you soon."

Marcus: "I'll ring you up."

I opened the door and Isabelle was standing there.

Isabelle: "Hey,Y/N."

Y/N: "Hey."

We kissed for a bit.

Isabelle: "Where ya been?"

Y/N: "Morning coffee with Marcus."

Isabelle: "Ok. Lunch?"

Y/N: "Was I really out for that long?"

Isabelle: "Uh... about 2 hours."

Y/N: "Yikes. Sorry for the wait. Now that you mention it,I am pretty hungry."

She giggled.

Isabelle: "Alright."

I woke up in the middle of the night. Isabelle was already asleep. An all too coincidental notification popped up.

Rosie: "U up?"

Y/N: "Yea,can't sleep."

Rosie: "Same."

We chatted for about half an hour.

Y/N: "What kind of guys you like? Asking for a friend ;)"

Rosie: "Hm... a jock,treats me as well as I treat him,mutual respect and British? I guess?"

Y/N: 'Huh.'

Y/N: "That just happens to match a friend of mine,Marcus."

Rosie: "Marcus?"

Y/N: "Yeah,the one that was two tables behind us. Yellow shirt,blond hair?"

Rosie: "Ohhhh,him."

Y/N: "I'll give him your number,k?"

Rosie: "Sure."

I set the phone down on the bedside drawer.

Y/N: 'Yes!'
