I woke up to the sound of knocking in the morning. Y/N was still asleep.

Isabelle: "My turn."

I snapped a pic of him and walked towards the door.

Isabelle: 'So cute.'

Isabelle: "Coming!"

I opened the door.

Isabelle: "Alright,who is i-"

I gasped.

*Y/N Pov

Y/N: "Ugh..."

I woke up,still tired,really tired. Like,that feeling you get when you're extremely tired but can't sleep anymore.

Y/N: "I need a coffee."

I heard talking in the living room. I walked out,nearly tripping. I saw Isabelle on the couch,talking with someone I had never seen on the island before. He had blond hair and was wearing a yellow shirt with a pair of jeans.

Y/N: "Good morning,Izzy. Who's this?"

Isabelle: "Oh,you're awake. This is Marcus,a friend from university."

Marcus: "You must be Y/N."

He walked closer to me.

Y/N: "Uh... yeah."

He shook my hand.

Marcus: "Isabelle was just telling me about you. Pleasure meeting you."

Y/N: "Nice meeting you too. What are you here for?"

Marcus: "Oh,I'm actually here on vacation. I'll be here for about 3 weeks."

Y/N: "Oh,ok."

Marcus: "About that,heard you're the mayor. Mind showing me around? If you don't mind,that is."

Y/N: "Sure."

*Time skip

Isabelle and I showed Marcus around Bellsworth. We stopped at Resident Services.

Y/N: "So,you can go fishing,shooting balloons down for coupons and stuff."

Isabelle: "And go bug hunting."

Y/N: "And go bug hunting,thanks,Izzy."

Marcus: "Thanks,Y/N. Who's that chap with the moustache and glasses there on the bulletin board?"

Y/N: "What?"

Isabelle: "Brewster."

Y/N: "Brewster?"

Isabelle: "Owner of The Roost,a cafe. He's coming to Bellsworth tomorrow."

Y/N: "Wanna go? It'll be a cute date. I'll be even cuter with you."

She giggled.

Isabelle: "I'd love to."

Marcus: "Mind if I join?"

Y/N: "Actually,we'd like to go alo-"

Isabelle: "Sure! I'm sure Y/N won't mind,right."

Y/N: "Fine."

Marcus: "Alright,cheers. Tomorrow,eh?"

Isabelle: "Yup!"

Marcus: "Alright,see you two then."
