Chapter 27 - The New Group

I felt her head leaving my shoulder, leaving me all alone on the grass. My hand glided over my crown, taking it off. I had been living under two people all my life. In L'Manburg it was Wilbur that had lost his mind, in Dream's lands it was him. I knew that being a traitor was the worst I could be, but I knew that was what I had to do, to find myself in this life.

" Het Eret, you okay?" looking up, it was Niki. She had stuck her head out of the door " yeah I am fine" I said, moving my cap more on my shoulders, I stood up still having the crown in my hand

"come on in, I think that you need a talk" opening the door more, to make it clear that I was welcome inside of the bakery. I smile walking over to her, placing my hand on her shoulder.

The bakery was full of bread and all kinds of cake, walking in you could smell the sweetness and the sound of the oven still running. " Sit down, I have made some coffee" walking into the backroom of the bakery, I placed the crown on the table pulling out the two chairs that were in there. Looking at her as she moved around the little room with a little hast taking thing and placing them another place, Niki poured some coffee into two cups sitting them on the table I gladly took one of them, the warm steam-heated my face. " So what is on your mind?" she asked taken another sip of the coffee.

" Do you ever feel like the world was not made for you and that some people have too much power?"

" I mean sometimes I do," she said placing the cup on the table, her eyes were warm, almost like she had something on her that was making her upset. Moving my hand over her hand, she turned her head to me " I mean, I feel like Wilbur is too much" taking another sip

" Yeah, I do the same. Have you talk to y/n?"

" no, I was never allowed to talk or see her when she was in L'Manburg, why?"

" can you keep a secret?" I asked her before I would drop the bomb on her

" Yeah, what is it?"

" Okay so y/n has asked me to be a spy on both sides. Like in L'Manburg and in the SMP. I have said yes to the offer I was thinking" stopping talking for a bit, taking a sip more " would you like to be in the meeting tomorrow when she comes L'Manburg?" her face had turned almost white, dropping the cup on the floor. " Are you serious right now?"

" You wanna join or what?" turning my voice a little sharp, to make myself clear for her to understand that it was serious what I meant " sure" I was in shock that she said that. " you sure that you wanna join?"

" I mean yeah. There can not only be one traitor there has to be two"

" Deal?" pulling my hand out raising it over the table. She took it shanking it. I had a deal

The next day----- Eret in L'Manburg

Looking out of the window of my face. I was nervous as hell, I had not slept all night instead I had sewed a dress that I wanted to make for myself.

The clock was 12 pm.

most people that lived in L'Manburg work outside the wall all day, except for Wilbur and Jack there was in a meeting with some of the locals of the land, sitting down on the chair I hear a little knock on my door. My eyes quickly when to the door, my heart started to beat faster and faster as I stood up making my way to the door, taking another deep breath I opened the door.

" Jesus it is just you?" taking a few steps back into the house

" yes dummy how else should it be?" Niki laughed, as she entered the house. Both her hands were had something in them. In the left hand, a map. the other a bag full of stuff but covered by a piece of clothing. " where can I put this?" "Oh let me take it" taking the basked out of her hands putting it on the kitchen table, Niki moved around in the house taking her coat off", placing it on one of the chairs " so when is she coming?"

" do not know, sometime soon I think" pulling out a chair sitting down, continuing to sew the dress I was working on. Niki, on the other hand, was moving around in my kitchen hearing the water run from the sink, I picked another color from the basket that was placed near the window. " Niki, what color would match pink?"

" oh, it depends on what it is for?"

" a dress"

" A dress! are you making to yourself or to a girl?" she smiled leaning in the door opening as she spoke, taking a sip of a glass " this is embarrassing but. For me"

" No it is not" looking at me, she walked over to the basked looking at the colors " well for you I think that for pink blue, green or red"

" I think that all colors would match you," a voice said from the door, feeling the wind moving over the tree floor. Turning around y/n was standing visible for us leaning in the door opening. Her brown hair was tied up in a braid that was laying over her shoulder wearing jeans, a jacket that looked almost burn. Around her waist, the belt was full of potions and a little pocket knife that was covered in gold.

" So you did find someone that would be here today. I am y/n, you are Niki, right?"

" Yeah," Niki said shaking her hand, hard. " so before we started I would like to know. How far will you guys go?"

" Well for me. I am going all the way" I said y/n smiled. We turned to Niki " well I am not sure"

" and that is okay, you don't need to go all the way. I know how it feels like to have to choose sides" y/n said, placing her hand on her shoulder, Niki was in silences " you are a good person, you don't need to choose if you dont want to, Eret?" I turned to her side, looking in her burning red eyes.

" Let's get to work. Wanna join Niki?"
