Chapter 64 - Light

Family is supposed to be our safe haven. Very often, it's the place where we find the deepest heartache

As the tale goes, the family moved far from the Dreams land, leaving behind everything that meant something to them. Techno never returned to them, either of them knew if he was alive or dead, even that they had tried to find out about it. Meanwhile Bad, Ant, Niki, and Eret had joined the, at the place. Y/n had tried to forgive them for choosing aside, but it was hard at the same time to think that the people that she had loved and cared for would just turn their bag on her and walked over to the other side, but she had to keep going at least for some more time, for Techno. Every day around 4 am, she would wake up and walk down a path leading her to the deep cliff, that was so deep that you count to see the bottom of it, the darkness was powerful from the bottom, letting herself think and breath, Y/n always letting her life hanging by a thread, just for fun at least. 

The morning that we start with the people Tommy and Phil, was leaving the ground to get some stuff. Y/n being the boy's only thing that was called family, had a hard time letting him leave, but the reminder that Phil would be there, having his hand under and over him, let her believed that it would be okay, at least for some time. 

" You better get him home alive again, Phil?" she said, as Phil packed a bag with bread and blankets " don't worry, he is safe with me" smiling at her, as he gliding over the floor " as most as I want to let him go, it is hard Phil. I love the kid, that is why," she said, opening her shoulder bag, pulling out a bracelet passing it to him " you see the light in the middle?" pointing to the little crystal in the middle of it, the light from the middle of it lighted up some of is hand " it is a magical crystal, it is the light of his life. As he lives on, it will light, if something happens to him, it will die down slowly, at death it will turn off. It is connected to my neckless" taking her neckless forward from her chest " Phil, please looked after him" Phil simplly nodded his head, taking the bag and the braclet, flowding over to Tommy. 

Tommy was a strong boy, nothing ordinary about him or the life that they were living together at all. His heart beating hard for his brother and his sister, that Tommy always knew that they would be there for him, even in the darkest part of his life " Toomy you read?" Phil asked as he placed his hand on his shoulder " yeah, kets fucking go! Bye, sis!" Tommy screamed at Y/n that waved them off. " Wait Tommy, she gave me this" Phil said taking his wrist up, tied the bracelet on his wrist " Y/n made it?" he asked, as Phil nodded his head at him " you mean the world to her" with those words they both turned away walking on, while Y/n hold tight to her neckless " please god, let him returned to me" she whispered to herself, turning back to the camp. As the night slowly swallowed the camp, the whole " family" gather around the fireplace. Wil sat by Niki said, meanwhile Y/n, Tubbo, Ant, and Bad were talking on the other side, as all-night ended with Tubbo would fall asleep up against Y/n's side. " Okay bad, what about Dream and his people, how would we work our way to that side?" Ant ask as he took a sip of his cup " hear me out" he started, but was cut off again " it is hopeless, it had been six months now, and we still have no idea about anything" Wilbur said, laying his hand on Niki's shoulders that were sitting down " Will is right, we have no idea what is happening at the house or the lands" tuning her eyes to Y/n, that was having her eyes on Eret that was sitting by a tree far from them " Y/n?" Bad asked, gently pushing her shoulder "hmm oh sorry, I'm just gonna" she responded pushing Tubbo away from her lap, heading to Eret.

 " May I sit?" she asks, Eret didn't respond simply made room for her to sit by him " you wanna talk about it?" she asked, looking at him " you know, this wasn't what I thought about when I decided to go against Wilbur and them" he stopped talking, she knew what he meant. Eret wanted to be his own " king" his own person, with no one to look down on him. He had gone against Will because, that was the way that he saw it out, and now he was right back where it all started for him, back at the crawls of lion himself " I know, but I count let them stay back, Dream would have killed them all if Tommy and Tobu hadn't gotten them out, and look on the bright side" Eret turned his head to her " you will always have me" she smiled at him, " I know, you will always be here, I'm happy to have you as a friend" pulling her into a hug " Eret, you are never alone, we can go on walks and talk. We can even take trips away from here if you need it" 

As the night roll around, all returned to the tents that were placed close to each other, as always Y/n slept with Tubbo and Tommy, but now that he wants there, Tubbo crawl over in her bed, cuddling with her " Y/n, how come that we are staying with Wilbur?" he asked, how should she answer him? for power? money? or simply to show that she now had the power him? " I have no idea, but I know one thing, that you and me, and Tommy will always be a family together, and one day the light will shine over us all" " will we ever see Technoblade again?" he asked, making Y/n's heart fall down her stomach, she missed him so much, and knew that the boys did the same, they just didn't talk about it the same way that she did " yeah, Toby he will" Tubbo smiled crawling closer to Y/n's side " I love you sis" "I love you too, brother." Soon enough, all the talking and laughed side down all over the camp, as the moon shined over the tents, a few shadows moved in the forest closing in on the camp itself, no one knew that in the next 48 hours their life would changes.... for some for good...
