Chapter 48 - Dear Brother

" yeah, we should move to the group. How far is there to where they are at?" I asked, looking at the two boys. It had all been a long day, Toby and I had walked around the forest talking about everything that was on our mind, while Tommy had talked to Phil about what happened to him, and he had finally opened up to us all, he had received all the love that we could give hin and as a result, he was his normal self again, or most of himself. After being through what he had been through, it was understanding that he was not feeling safe around us or anyone in the first place. I hate all the pain that the dream team had placed on my family in the first place, but the worst was to come when I saw my close friend, the people that was almost was the close thing I had, talking to my blood brother, having no idea what they here talking about or having no idea to find out, if they wanted to make deals with them, there was no reason that I or the others should be with them in one way...

" Y/n? did you hear what I just said?" a hand placed on my shoulder, made me focus on them both. " Oh sorry" " it is okay, it is not far from here if we walk that was way," he said, pointing down a path that was on one of the sides from around their meeting. " Okay, should we go now, or would your guys like to wait?" they both looked around them before they both jumped to their feet " I take that as we leave now" I smiled at them, standing up myself, throwing my bag over my shoulder. We walked around the mounting site, I had the feeling the whole time that someone or something was after us, and it gave me the chills over my whole body, letting me grab Toby's hand squeezing it as we walked " what's wrong?" he asked, I just looked him in the eyes leaning close to him, whispering in his ear " someone is behind us" he looked behind me " I don't see anybody" " no dummy he is invisible" hitting him in the back head " ow okay, sorry" he said, moving his hand through his hair, to where I had hit him " Hello you coming!" Tommy screams further up a hill that was in front of us, as Toby walked up, I glided up the hill letting my wings stretching full out. " Show off" Tommy snapped, as I landed in front of him lifting some of the dirt that was on the ground up, he coughed loud making both me and Toby to laughed at him " come on, big boy" clapping him on his shoulder, we continued to walk.

" Philza!" Tommy screamed running further up, as we made it to the top Phil, Lilly, and Ranboo was there, they looked all tried like us, and by the look of what Lilly had they had made a trip to the market in the town before leaving, Tommy ran to Phil hugging him " Jesus kid" Phil let out, laughing at him, hugging him back " hey, did you get what you needed?" Lilly asked me, that was carrying the bag on my shoulder " most of it" placing my hand on the bag, the wind was cold, in the past, I was bad in cold weather now it felt nice, comfortable, and relaxing. " you okay?" Ranboo asked me, " yeah " placing the bag on the ground, I took two caps up from the bag passing them to Tommy and Toby, the both of them was sitting on the edge of the mountain looking down talking about something " Y/n, can I asked you something?" Tommy suddenly asked me.

" Yeah what is it?" leaning close to him, sitting beside him " do you miss Techno and the others in any way?" I swallowed some spit and looked at him "sometimes I do, but I am here now. We are fighting for a future for you guys and others that don't have a chance to do or say what they want to" " so you have forgotten the past?" Toby said, walking to my other side " no, I live by what happened to me every day. It is who I am, and I can't change what has happened to me, but I can change so nothing happened to you two again" hugging them both, " I love you both more than I show, okay?" " but the funny thing," Toby said, pulling me closer to his chest " we love you too, more than you know" we laughed, and decided to join the others once again. " Yo, what's up?" Ranboo said, wrapping his arm around my waist, that was a new thing that he had done for a while now, not that it bothers me in any way, but it was a nice feeling that he gave me. Laughing at it, he lifted me from the ground " omg Ranboo let go!" I scream as he threw me over his shoulder " oh no" he squeezed out from his laughed, he started to run around, the others laughed and smiling at us, after a while you could hear him gasping for air. " You done?" I asked as he sat me on the ground again, gasping for air " yea-h I a-m" grabbing his arm, I threw it over my shoulder, trying to support him. " Okay big man," I said, as Lilly walked to us " here you go you broken brother" smiling at each other, I passed him to her instead.

As hours passed, we walked further away, closer to our destination, when the sun went down we were still on the move. Tommy and Toby that still were kids their age, had passed out and sleeping, Tommy on Philza's back, Toby on mine, feeling his breathing calmly on my back, I wrapped my wings around him keeping him warm, I guess that he was my little brother now, no matter what the other said about it, in my heart he was all that I had left to love and care about.

" Sis, get up!" I was once again woken up by the same boy that was jumping right in front of my feet " Tom, shut up!" rubbing my hands in my eyes, I stood up from the ground my back " god I need to sleep in a bed soon" I said to myself, stretching my body to another day. Toby was still sleeping right beside where I had been, instead of waking him, I placed my blanket on him. " Good morning to you all," Tommy said, jumping to the others that were sitting a little further away, by some threes, I felt like a zombie that was walking, as I move to the " morning princess," Ranboo said, chewing on some barries that were by the fire, the smell of newly baked bread made it to my nostril making my mouth wet " here," Lilly said, standing up handing my some of the bread, " thank you" smiling to her, I placed myself in front of Ranboo and her, Ranboo pulled my closer to him, placing his blanket on my back wrapping his arm around me " okay?" he asked, nodding my head he kept his arm around me. Later that morning we were ready to move on to our destination, still, I wanted to make something to someone that I cared for " Phil, do you have some paper?" " yeah" opening his bag, pulling out a piece of paper and a pen. " Who is it to?" " someone that I know will be here soon" walking a bit from the group, I sat down on the ground placing the piece of paper to read.

Feeling tears pressing on my eyes, it was done. Closing it, signing it. Standing up, I dried the tears off my face, walking up to the other that was waiting for me " ready?" Lilly asked, handing me my bag and the book, taking a hold of it " to L'Manburg" placing the letter in my pocket, we started to walk away, Toby moved to my side, feeling the letter in my pocket, I knew that one day he would have it.....
