2: Long way From Home

The three had driven for over three hours and they still haven't arrived to their destination. Katsuki was also getting anxious as to why Izuku hasn't woken up, made a noise, or moved at all. His small body was just strapped in, rolling from side to side during turns while being covered by a blanket that his mother had given katsuki to keep them warm. The drive was mostly quiet, except for the occasional 'im hungry' or 'i need to pee' comments from the blonde but other then that, everyone was quiet.

Mitsuki grabbed hold of her phone and unlocked it before handing it over to Katsuki.

"See if there's any news on what is going on" she asked, a little irritated at the long drive as well as what happened a few hours prior in her house.

Katsuki grabbed hold of the large phone and went over to the news app and read the news titles until he clicked on a link that started playing a video with a news reporter talking and showing pictures.

"Today, september 3rd, a presumably abandoned building was bombed and dangerous, toxic chemicals were found to be part of the cause. It was discovered that a few of the testing tubes had mixed together and animals around the compound had made their way inside and ingested these chemicals and turned into beasts. We don't know how many are out there and how many more will come but beware. Do not approach these creatures and if you see one, contact police officials..." the lady kept talking until his mother asked Katsuki to pull up another video since that one was from yesterday.

Katsuki did as asked and exited the video, scrolling until he saw another video of a different news reporter. And this time it looked like he was inside some sort of bunker with people in the background talking.

"Today, september 4th, we have received many cases where these potential 'mutant creatures' have invaded schools and hospitals and killed off whoever gets in their way. Let's hear it from Haru who had encountered one of these creatures. Go ahead." the camera then moved towards a woman covered in dirt and scratches on her face.

"I was visiting my mother in the hospital when all of a sudden I heard this loud noise before there were yells from other people. I wanted to leave but i couldn't without my mother is-so when I turned off the lights, that's when I saw this tall 'thing' just walking down the hallway and it was covered in dirty, bloody furr and it had really sharp teeth and things sticking out of its head and slimy back. It was something out of a horror movie" The woman said before it showed someone else talking.

"I was with my wife when we were going to go drop off our kids to go to school, and then something that looked like a very big, tall, slimy creature came out of nowhere along with other ones that looked just like it. We were lucky enough to drive away until we reached this military bunker with both our kids after we had been contacted by the government." Then it showed a picture of the same creatures that the man was talking about and they were the same ones that Katsuki and Izuku had seen in their school.

It had a slick head with spines sprouting out of its neck, its body was long and tall with long claws. It was skinny, with bones for legs and arms but it had a very round belly. And looking closer, it looked like it didn't have any eyes. Just a very long nose.

It's blind...

The second one was a video of people screaming and cars crashing before another large creature ponced inside the building and its back was evaporating, it seemed with the smoke that came from it. It screeched loudly, whipping it's tongue around and grabbing hold of anything that it touched with it. it was the only one in there but it was causing a lot of chaos and dripping slick on the floor from its back and tongue and right before Katsuki could see more, the camera went black.
