17: Closer Than Ever

Katsuki was now on his way downstairs until he was hit with quite the delicious smell. He hadn't noticed that he was hungry until now. He made his way towards the kitchen and saw Izuku setting up the table with bowls and spoons, Kirishima stirring something in a large pot, and Mina talking with Kirishima while holding a pitcher of water. He made his way towards Izuku and placed a hand on his back before grabbing a few bowls and helping him set up the table.

Izuku slightly jumped at the hand on his back, too focused on putting things on the table, but he smiled when he saw that it was Katsuki. Though, he blushed a little at the close proximity since he wasn't quite used to Katsuki being so 'affectionate' to him. Sure they've known each other and the teasing is still very much there but not quite the closeness, regardless of their session upstairs half an hour ago.

"Oh~ I didn't know Bakugou could be so touchy touchy" Mina teased as she set the pitcher of water down and gave Katsuki a playful look as she eyed how close he and Izuku were at the moment.

"You're a very sneaky boy" Mina whispered, which confused Izuku a little so he asked her what she meant, cutting off Katsukis possible shouting.

"Sneaky?" he asked only to receive a quirked eyebrow from mina.

"You know? You and Uraraka?" Mina inquired which made Izuku's face light up in realization, not noticing the multiple people that came in.

"Oh. Y-yea, me and Uraraka... kind of.... Broke up?" Izuku said as he scratched his neck, anxious.

"Oh, that's why I saw you and Bakugou kissing when going upstairs" A monotone voice called which made Izuku immediately shoot his gaze towards the door where everyone was walking through and into the kitchen. He knew the statement came from Todoroki and he tried getting something out but his embarrassment and humiliation was overpowering him. Then his attention went towards Uraraka to see if she would be mad but she was busy talking with Sero.

"I bet they were doing more than just kissing todoroki '' Mina added as everyone started taking their seats at the table and of course Iida looked slightly offended.

"I don't think it should be any of our business other people's sexual life,'' Iida stated as he looked at Mina who shrugged her shoulders and held her hands up in defense.

"It wouldn't have to be if people are being loud about it," Katsuki said this time as he eyed Mina and Kirishima knowingly in a way of getting other people's eyes on them instead of him and Izuku.

"Don't look at me! You should be looking at Denki for this one!" Mina retorted as she gestured towards Denki who was happily eating along with a few others. Denki looked up before sending a smile at the people who looked at him before going back to eating. He knew that whatever they were talking about, was probably about him but he didn't really care.

"I must add that if anyone would like to have sex, to simply use the room where the living room is. It's the farthest away from anyone so you can have your private time, '' Momo said as she looked at the large group at the table.

"Oh, can me and kiri use it?" Mina asked nonchalantly in slight curiosity. Most people snickered while others shook their heads.

"Can we just eat without talking about this please?" izuku said in an overly flustered manner as he kept his eyes on the bowl of stew in front of him. He didn't want people to start talking about his sexual life when he was dating Uraraka. It was just too embarrassing considering that... he's a talker. Just having memories made him blush madly as he started chowing down his food, the liquid of the stew slipping down his throat with ease.

Luckily, everyone went into a normal conversation, talking about random topics varying from weapons, to fashion, and even past memories that people were sharing. It was nice to get to know people better even though everyone has gone through a rough time considering they are hiding away from the creatures. However, the conversation quickly turned around from what they were talking about before.
