15: Freedom is Key

Izuku waited in the living room with a few people already there, talking and while wondering why they were being called until everyone was there with Sero, Uraraka, Katsuki, and Kirishima sitting on the couch bed, Todoroki and momo taking the two couch chairs while the rest stood.

Izuku eyed everyone, bringing a hand up near his mouth and biting on his thumbnail out of nervousness as everyone got settled. Once everyone was ready to listen, Izuku started informing them about everything.

"I know that we've never had meetings before but that was because we didn't need one. That is until something came up. We are not 100% sure but I don't want to wait to find out..." Izuku said, receiving a few looks from everyone that didn't consist of the people who knew what he was talking about. He cleared his throat before he continued.

"What I'm trying to say is that there's more than just Groupers and Slicks. There's another creature out there and... It's the same one that attacked me 3 and a half years ago, ''Izuku said with a released breath, showing his right hand where his scars trailed up to his shoulder, lifting his sleeve a little so the others could see his much larger scar. They never got a good look at it since Izuku always had that black brace on but now that it was right there, they could understand why izuku didn't want to show anyone. He was practically missing a whole chunk of himself.

"It's... something much bigger than one can imagine and I was lucky to have survived it but what i'm assuming, is that it's still looking for me so wherever I go, it follows. Meaning, that I bring trouble wherever I will go and I truly do not want that '' Izuku said as he looked ahead of himself, glancing towards Uraraka to which she gave a small smile and a nod.

"So I want us to work together to defeat it and all of its friends, but I want to make sure that you guys are with me with this and It is totally fine if you don't want to participate. It's your life and it's your choice whether to live it all out, or risk it and I can assure you that I would never hold that against you or think anything bad. So if your with me, that's great but if you have second thoughts, tell us as soon as you get an answer." Izuku finished as he looked at the crowded living room, and was expecting thoughtful faces that said that they were unsure of their decision, but it seemed that it was the complete opposite. Everyone had a serious, determined expression on their faces and it made izuku relieved that he wasn't going to do it alone, but he would have accepted it if that was the case.

"So what do you have in mind?" Kirishima questioned, others agreeing and looking at Izuku with a curious expression. Izuku's mind went back to his analytical side and started slowly pacing back and forth.

"First we would need to figure out it's schedule. Where it goes, does it sleep, when it eats, and all that. After, we need to find blind spots, or weaknesses like Groupers have no protection on their bellies, and slicks don't like getting wet nor being in the sun. Something. But then we need to also take in its strengths and abilities to understand it better." Izuku mumbled, his words starting to fade out as he entered his own world. Thankfully, Iida was there to stop him by placing a hand on his shoulder. Izuku raised his head up and hummed as he looked at Iida in wonder before looking back at the crowd in the living room and embarrassment embedded in his whole being as he blushed a little and twiddled with his fingers.

"I guess we should stick with figuring out where it is first but i'm sure it isn't far tho." Izuku said as he received some nods. Iida patted Izukus back a little before he turned towards the others.

"That is all for now. I believe that we will start with our search tomorrow so you can finish what you were doing before" Iida stated, making everyone get up from their spots and stretch, loud, satisfactory groans coming from Kirishima and Denki. Izuku gave them all a wave before he spotted Jiro, stopping her as the others left.
