The following morning, after they were instructed to sleep the night of their arrival, Katsuki exited the medical tent, his wounds disinfected and bandaged, and looked around the area to speak with someone but everyone seemed pretty busy. Cars and trucks going around, people shouting orders as they entered a gated area where it led to where all the other tents were on the outside.
"Sir! Sir you can't be out here" Katsuki turned around from the voice, knowing it was probably him that was being called, adn noticed a man with get black hair running his way, bagged eyes and dirty city clothing but holding a sniper between his hands.
"Oh, are you the new recruit? I thought there were more..." The man whispered but Katsuki shook his head as he turned around to face him, standing a few yards away from the medics.
"No, me and some others came from Tokyo- anyway, I was wondering if you could help me find someone?" His voice sounded a little desperate but Katsuki could care less at the moment. The man had a look of realization before nodding his head and leading him somewhere else. It was more of a jog than a walk but after a little bit, Katsuki entered a much larger tent but it was open to the point where you could see what was inside."Yamada!" the man called as he slowed his pace inside the tent. A blonde male with long hair looked up and he gave the other a greeting smile before standing up.
"Aizawa! What brings you here?" he asked before catching the other blonde behind him and he smiled brighter as he stepped around the table he sat and brought out his hand for Katsuki to shake.
"I'm Hizashi Yamada, the food distributor and might I ask who you are?" Yamada said enthusiastically as he waited for Katsuki to tell him his name.
Katsuki shook the other hand, thinking about why so many men had long hair but introduced himself as well. "Katsuki Bakugou and I would like for someone to tell me where my mom is," Katsuki said in urgency, his heart hammering against his chest. He was anxious in what condition he might find her.
"Ah! Then you must speak with Shimano. He's the one who's in charge of keeping track of-"
"Where is he?" Katsuki immediately interrupted. As soon as that name came out of the stranger's mouth, instant relief washed over him. He hoped that his mother would be here as well.
"Okay, okay! He's actually about to go on number 23 in a few minutes so you should still catch aaaand he's gone" yamada started, looking up to see that Katsuki was running to where all the vehicles are, Aizawa immediately spinning around and giving a sigh when he too say Katsuki leaving.
Katsuki on the other hand, Ignored peoples shouts and maneuvered his way around the moving vehicles but never stopped, even though people were chasing after him. He passed a few buildings and cars, jumping over railings until he reached what looked like some sort of parking lot, all of the same beige cars lined up with people walking around with large containers.
"23...23...23" Katsuki was muttering the number over and over again to not forget, looking around and down on the floor where there were a bunch of numbers until he reached number 23, stopping and watching as a man with short curly light brown hair loaded a large case, similar to the ones a few others carried. He was about to reach out for him, but his arms were grabbed onto.
"Hey! Get the fuck off me!" Katsuki yelled as he pulled on his arms and it caught the attention of the male he was once looking at.
"Katsuki?" Katsuki immediately shot his head over to the other, seeing Shimano holding a face of complete and utter surprise as he looked at him. He wanted to smirk at him but it was a little hard with people pulling on his arms.
