"Are you coming in?" Izuku asked as he looked at Uraraka while opening the door to lead towards the inside. The girl stood on the porch before shaking her head no.
"I think i'll stay here for a little" She answered sweetly before she turned back around and leaned over the wooden railing, her hair swaying from the morning breeze. Izuku nodded his head in understanding before making his way inside.
At first he was surprised when he saw Katsuki sitting in the chair and lying his head down on the table, sleeping peacefully. But then, Izuku smiled, thinking back to Urarakas words from a few minutes before and guided the door closed to not wake up the sleeping blonde. Though, he also thought about when Uraraka said that Katsuki cared about him and he thought that she was lying in some way but the proof was right here in front of him. Katsuki slept with his head between his arms and a blanket over his body, waiting for Izuku to come back when he was standing right beside him.
Izuku then felt his stomach growl, making him blush a little at how loud it came out. He decided that he should start with making breakfast even if it was still early in the morning. He hummed as he opened the cupboards, seeing that they were filled with loads of dried beans, honey, his many jars of edible flowers, varying in different sizes, dry rice, oats, and so on. Izuku grabbed the honey and oats, along with the mint leaves before he started making breakfast for everyone.
After a while, Katsuki groaned, all the noise coming from the kitchen was bothering him to no end and he pulled the cover over his head. However, he furrowed his brow when he noticed that he wasn't lying down but sitting in a chair and lying his head on a table. He lifted himself, the blanked dropping behind him and noticed that he was in the kitchen and immediately remembered why he was there.
"Fucking hell" Katsuki grumbled as he rubbed his back in pain, cracking his neck and shoulders as he stretched.
"Oh, morning kacchan." a voice said happily from behind him. Katsuki immediately turned around and saw Izuku walking back and forth in the kitchen, mixing different things in bowls and pouring something brown and steamy in a pitcher.
"Where the fuck have you been" Katsuki seethed, his tiredness long forgotten as he got up from his spot, his legs also cracking, to which Izuku giggled at.
"Looks like you've had a good night's sleep" izuku said in a joking, sarcastic manner.
"This isn't a fucking joke, Deku." Katsuki said again as he approached the boy and stood a few feet away from him while leaning on the counter. Izuku sighed as he placed the bowl down, understanding where Katsuki was coming from.
"I just needed some time alone, ok? I'm sorry I didn't tell you I left but... you need to understand why I did it in the first place" Izuku spoke sternly, yet his tone was soft. Katsuki only scowled and turned his head away from Izuku. He knows that what he was about to do was wrong, tha he was with Uraraka and all, but it still didn't excuse the fact that Izuku has been gone for 24 hours straight. His chest felt heavy again and his insides fluttered at the thought but he sighed before turning around towards the counter.
"What are you making anyway?" he asked, wanting to avoid the subject for now. Izuku seemed to brighten a little at the question as he continued with his previous task.
"I'm trying to make granola balls but the honey is a little hard so it gets a little difficult to mix the oats." izuku answered, making Katsuki quirk a brow.
"What's this then?" Katsuki asked again, making Izuku glance at the dark brown liquid.
"It's coffee!" izuku exclaimed happily. "And if no one wants coffee, then they get water" Izuku finished before he put the mixing spoon down and put some soap in his hands and rinsed it off with water.
