ehem ehem

IhateOnions-

there will be different parts to explain how things fully function in my AU

~part 1~

so lets start off with the main story. With the Indian empires and kingdoms. Each Empire and Kingdom were different people, if an empire was divided into smaller kingdoms in small numbers as such less than 5 then those kingdoms will be their kids who were given lands belonging to that empire because they were near their death. If the empire was divided into more than 5 parts then that empire has no children, the smaller kingdoms will be rebels and when they form their own kingdom they no longer remain human and become a kingdom, with their new kingdom's flag. This applies to all old empires and kingdoms around the world.

~part 2~

now, I'll make this one a bit short. Basically this is examples and explanation of the empires and kingdoms. Lets start with the first ever empire in India, the Mauryan empire. In my AU(pls don't judge) her son was the Maratha empire(may not make sense but PLEASE I BEG YOU DONT JUDGE). Once she fell apart due to weak rulers and rebels from different provinces, the princes controlling the provinces became the new kingdoms and lasted till the Gupta empire came. I don't have much to say about him besides the fact Mughal is blood related to him. After he fell apart again the same thing with administrations(basically provinces but they were called administrations in the Gupta empire) becoming kingdoms. Now for the main AU.

~part 3~

now, to explain the Mughal family tree in MY AU. Mughal got married to Jhansi and because of history and how fast the Mughal empire expanded and all, it would make more sense if India, Paki and Bangla were born earlier than most people think. So in my AU India is born in 1532, Paki in 1538 and Bangla is 1540. Now this next explanation is going to have sensitive topics so please don't read ahead if you get triggered easily.

so as I was saying, when a child under the age of 14 is being severely neglected and/or abused they become attention seekers. They get in the need of having love and attention from someone else if they can't get it from their own parent. They become desperate for love and become rather toxic. If they have younger siblings they become possessive of them and make sure they're siblings can't leave them. When they start getting that attention then they become toxic in keeping the other person with them. As they get older than 15 there's no fixing their toxic habits, they'll only become more toxic and narsassistic. It's not the child's fault, it's because of the way the parent treats them that causes this type of behaviour.
In my AU, Mughal isn't a good dad and did harm India, while mostly avoiding Paki and Bangla because they weren't the heirs of the throne. Which is why India almost immediately trusted B.E and the other foreign empires, we all know how that ended.

and then there's the part where the Indian states come in, she slowly adopted those states who's real parents were other Indian empires and Kingdoms but due to reasons either died or left their kids and India took them in. She did have trouble taking care of them, but she felt they were the only close ones left who he could trust. After the partition, was where her sanity went bye-bye.

That's also when she met USSR(oooo~ s h i p). She barely trusted him at all due to the past. She slowly gained trust, especially when USSR helped her in literally anything bad that happened. "Slow and steady trust is meant to be, right...?". Throughout time, small feelings developed for each other. They didn't admit it for the longest time.

India did have her break downs, most alone without anyone to ever help.  a few where Soviet where there and helped her. But towards anyone besides her states and USSR she would act rather heartless.

I'm yet to completely plan things out so uh- have that-

headcanon:- whenever India would help take care of Soviet's kids they'd sometimes 'accidentally' call her mom.
