Jack's eyes widened. He had seen cases of regular countries begging to spare the demon, the same demon who ends up murdering and eating them later on. But not once had he seen anything like this.

Anadi got closer to Aadil who was unconscious and hugged him, still growling at Jack. This wasn't what Jack had expected. He had never once seen a demon try spare, forget protect a regular country before.

He had intentions to kill her seeing how she was now a demon, but now he had some faith that Aadil would be able to control her and keep her with him safely.

He lowered his gun, his expression went back to the emotionless look he mostly keeps. He quickly went out of sight as Anadi looked around to see where he was.

Silence, complete silence for a good minute. Anadi calmed herself down. Aadil slowly started to regain his consciousness as Anadi held him tighter. When he woke up and saw Anadi, he felt tears form in the corner of his eyes. He grabbed her and hugged her back.

She simply pat his back while smiling. He was glad he hadn't lost his sister. He had someone left.

Jack came back after a while, holding a letter in his hand. Anadi sensed his presence and snapped her head towards him.

❝I only had intentions to kill your sister because she is a demon and was attacking you earlier, but seeing how she defended you. I'll spare you both. But don't let her roam freely in the sun. Demons can't be in the sun or they'll die.❞

Jack said and threw the paper towards them. Aadil grabbed the paper as Anadi looked at it from behind him. It was a address.

❝The person you'll find will help you train to survive from other demons, and he'll help find a way to get your sister back to normal❞

is the final thing Jack said before leaving. Aadil then looked up and noticed the bit of yellow in the sky as the clouds cleared. He grabbed Anadi's hand and took her back into the house as fast as he could. She wasn't harmed thankfully.

❝We'll have to leave to this address by tomorrow, can you find something from your closet that covers your entire body but still allows you to see?❞

Aadil asked. Anadi nodded and ran into her room. Althought she wore clothes that cover most of her body she still had to cover her hands and face. She came back rather quickly wearing some gloves, a hood and a mask.

❝The hood will work to cover your eyes while the mask covers the rest of your face, the gloves will work too. Get some rest while I get some food so we can leave tomorrow❞

He said. He remembered the blood in his siblings' rooms. Before he could ask Anadi to clean she had already gotten to work to clean her own room first. She seemed much faster at everything as a demon.

When she finished she went back towards him. Aadil smiled and patted her head. Although her face wasn't visible at all, she still seemed happy. Althought he did notice two small bumps on each side of the hood start to form. But he didn't question it at all.

He was just glad she was safe and with him. But he did wonder... what happened to Aditya...?

Worry for his elder brother filled his mind. It was visible on his face as Anadi tilted her head in confusion. He could tell by her reaction she was going to ask.

❝What's worrying you so much?❞

He slightly smiled towards her.

❝It's nothing Anadi. Go get some rest because it's going to be a long walk tomorrow❞

(A/N: Aditya is male India's human name. And if you haven't read past chapters, Jack is US, Aadil is Pakistan and Anadi is Bangladesh. Yes my chapters have gotten a little shorter. That is because this is my new writing style and I'll take some time to get used to it and write chapters as long as I used to. But the long chapters aint gone forever, they're gone for just 2 or 3 weeks.)
